With the official launch of the CN server of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, as a long-time veteran player who has followed this game closely, I finally had the chance to bring this Cinderella cosplay look to Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo during the May Day holiday, offering my own way of celebrating the server launch. Special thanks to photographer Wen Jin for capturing so many ideal moments amidst the bustling crowds of the convention.

A lot of thought went into the details of this costume. The semi-sheer silver-gray tulle overlay paired with the inner white lace underskirt was made with subtly shimmering fabric, allowing it to project a light, translucent airy quality under convention lighting rather than feeling like a stiff, heavy textile. The black choker and the black cross pendant on the chest serve as visual anchors, while the black bow ribbon at the waist nicely breaks up the monotony of the dominant light tones. The white lace gloves on my arms and the white headpiece at the collar echo each other harmoniously, centering the entire styling on the coordination of silver, white, and black.

The wig was styled into icy silver-blue twin-tails paired with a structured black headband—not only the character's classic signature, but the gentle swaying of the pigtails while walking on site also added dynamic flair. For makeup, I avoided overly dramatic eyeshadow, relying mainly on blue contact lenses and a clean, translucent base to refresh the look, keeping facial features soft and distinct. Because Cinderella's lore blends cool detachment with elegance, I avoided forced, overly bouncy poses when posing at the convention, opting instead for poised standing postures and slight side-profile angles to capture her calm composure.

The polished gray tile floor at Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo reflected cool tones that perfectly complemented the overall cool palette. Photos 1 and 4 both feature standing poses, but one has a hand lightly touching the headband while the other lets both arms rest naturally, conveying distinct body language. Photo 5 is a half-body close-up that clearly highlights the choker, cross, and cuff lace details, giving viewers a clear sense of the garment's layered architecture. The final kneeling shot was an experimental angle where the silver pointed stilettos and leg lines projected stronger visual tension in a solo frame.

Throughout the process of creating these Convention photos, the ambient lighting at the venue was actually quite chaotic, as overhead lights in large halls often cause harsh overexposure or wash out makeup. The photographer's command of the scene was crucial in this Cosplay photography endeavor, slightly shifting shooting angles to steer clear of surrounding light-blocking flags and utilizing ambient illumination to preserve the delicate shimmer of the tulle skirt. Bringing an anime character to life is never just about putting on the costume; it involves understanding the character's essence and using body language to truly embody them before the lens.

The launch of the CN server marks a brand-new beginning, and I hope these Convention photos resonate with fellow fans of Cinderella. From preparing the costume to navigating the bustling venue and curating the final edits, immense dedication and passion were poured into this set. While a convention visit lasts only a few hours, translating a beloved character from screen to reality and documenting it is a truly meaningful ritual. Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo is enormous with dense foot traffic; completing such a clean, sharp set of photos in this bustling environment was truly no easy feat.
