This Shimoe Koharu cosplay outfit was prepared with a strong focus on details, especially the pink circular halo on top of the head. Although it's made of a translucent material, to recreate the glossy texture from the game, I specially selected a pearlescent acrylic sheet. Supported by thin iron wires, I adjusted the angle several times to maintain a perfect hovering visual effect during high-angle and side-view shots.

The wig is a soft pink gradient model, with the sideburns and back layers trimmed to match her iconic black highlights. However, after actually putting it on, I found that the wig's inherent volume was larger than expected, so I used quite a bit of styling spray to press down that light, soft-girl feel. The black feathers on the tail part were glued on one by one by hand. To achieve both a plush texture without being overly heavy, a combination of felt sheets with different stiffness levels was used. When worn, it hangs down naturally while remaining agile.

The black plush cat-ear headband and the red collar with a golden bell around the neck are the soul of the entire outfit. The bell was chosen in a matte alloy material, making a subtle jingling sound when walking, which perfectly fits her clumsy yet slightly tsundere personality. The clothing is a loose black long-sleeved sweatshirt, intentionally made into an off-the-shoulder style. The cuffs are spliced with pink ribbing to echo the color of the hot pants, making the overall color scheme black, white, and pinkโ€”clean yet vibrant.

During the shoot, I specially chose a solid pink background and a white plush rug to create a soft, fluffy bedroom atmosphere. Placed next to me were a matching figure and a large black throw pillow to give the frame more narrative depth. The first picture wearing slippers shows the preparation state, while in the second picture, I went straight into barefoot action, with white-and-pink striped slouch socks around my ankles, pushing that casual ACG home style to the absolute limit.

In fact, recreating this kind of everyday-oriented character is harder than a battle outfit, because you have to portray that lazy yet cute expression without looking too forced. This entire Cosplay photography session was handled by myself from makeup and hair to lighting. The pink background light strips really washed out the makeup, so I slightly increased the saturation of the eyeshadow and blush, and selected a tender pink lipstick to better match the character's sense of age. I hope the visual effects presented this time allow everyone to feel Shimoe Koharu's unique charm.
