[Shimoe Koharu cosplay] Daily Impressions of Blue Archive

Bringing Shimoe Koharu's look from Blue Archive to life actually required meticulous care with details. The primary challenge lay in the long pink wig, which needed layered styling—not only to shape the crown's curvature, but also to maintain volume on the sides so it contoured the face naturally without making it look broad. Securing the halo above the head and the blue feather hairpins on both sides took repeated trial and error to prevent them from blocking my line of sight. The outfit follows a black-and-blue sailor uniform design featuring pink collar stripes, a matching tie, and sleeve insignia. The fabric has enough structure to hold the shoulder silhouette firmly. The bottom pairs a pleated skirt with white slouch socks and black loafers, a combination that flatters and visually elongates the legs.

The shoot was conducted primarily in a white cyclorama studio, using soft lighting to maintain a pristine, clean color palette. Across the four poses: Photo 1 features hands on hips for a confident and capable demeanor; Photo 2 is a three-quarter turn reaching out with playful charm; Photo 3 rests a hand on the shoulder with feet angled outward in a pigeon-toed stance to accentuate leg lines and the skirt's natural pleats—which is why I chose it as the cover; Photo 4 clasps both hands with a subtle turn, looking obedient and sweet. Because there was a pair of blue wings mounted on my back, posing required careful clearance between my arms and the wings to avoid clipping. Post-processing focused on adding the floating pink halo effect and harmonizing the clean, luminous pink-and-white background tones. While the outfit may seem straightforward, achieving that signature character contrast required numerous subtle adjustments in expression and body posture. The overall execution turned out quite polished, and I hope to share this pure visual ambiance and character spirit with everyone.
