[Shimoe Koharu cosplay] Blue Archive poolside photoshoot record

Today, I am sharing a set of Blue Archive Shimoe Koharu poolside official photos. The design details of this swimsuit are extremely rich: the upper body features a white off-the-shoulder ruffle short sleeve, with a huge pink bow and pearl decorations on the chest, while the lower body consists of lace-trimmed swim trunks, with small black wings added at the waist sides. To restore the character, I wore a pink twin-tail wig and a white hat with a black ribbon, paired with pink contact lenses, making the overall makeup lean toward a youthful and cute style. The weather on the day of the shoot was great, with direct sunlight hitting the water surface, and the sparkling feel matched the character very well. However, the difficulty of underwater shooting far exceeded imagination; the clothes became heavy after absorbing water, the wig floating on the water surface was easy to mess up, and controlling body posture in the water required very strong core strength. In picture one, I am sitting on an inflatable swim ring; to maintain balance while making the leg lines look natural, I tried several times. Picture two is sitting in the shallow water area by the pool, where the lighting is very good, and water droplets on the thighs and knees can be clearly seen. The flesh-colored Stockings are soaked by water and cling tightly to the skin, making the texture look very realistic in the photos. In picture three, standing in the water with the water level just covering the knees, the urban buildings and tropical plants in the background form a distinct contrast between modern and nature. Throughout the shooting process, the photographer worked very hard, soaking in the water to find angles and guiding me to make vivid expressions, such as the slightly tilted head and playful demeanor in picture three. We soaked in the water for nearly two hours until our skin wrinkled, but seeing the clear water quality and the luster of sunlight hitting the pink hair in the finished photos made all these efforts feel worthwhile. This set of photos did not use overly complex post-processing, mainly retaining the natural light and shadow and the translucent feel of the water surface. The lace and ribbons on the clothes have a great texture under the sunshine. Overall, this shoot successfully completed the restoration of the character's summer atmosphere, presenting that lively yet slightly refreshing feeling.
