I put together two sets of Purple style outfit variations for this Xiao Qiao Cosplay. The first set was a shimmering purple wide-sleeved robe with a delicate, subtle sheen; the white floral embroidery across the sleeves was exquisitely detailed, paired with an inner white cross-collar undergarment to present an overall look that felt both opulent and soft. For the second set, I switched to an off-white lace inner layer, highlighting the ruffled collar and intricate lace cuffs, matched with bright purple satin ribbon bows at the base of the braids to look even lighter and sweeter. While both ensembles centered on purple, one leaned glamorous and the other more everyday, showcasing entirely distinct textures.

Because this was a Custom design cosplay, I integrated plenty of my personal interpretations into the styling and outfit coordination. For the wig, I selected a dark brown tone, styling a fluffy crown and thick center-parted bangs with gentle curves cascading on both sides to frame the face. The side of the head was adorned with purple-and-white floral hairpieces and pearl tassels, which, paired with generous pink-purple blush under the eyes and large-diameter brown contact lenses, visually created an innocent and delicate charm. The makeup harmonized with Lady Sirenxin's gorgeous concept; the eyeliner was deliberately angled slightly downward, paired with curled false eyelashes to instantly bring out that doll-like appearance.

During shooting, to capture the character's demeanor accurately, I experimented with many poses. For example, gently playing with hair strands or resting an index finger lightly against my chin, maintaining an ethereal and quiet gaze. Combined with the venue's warm pale-pink and purple lighting, it created a dreamy, gentle spring ambiance. Lady Sirenxin was meticulous with post-processing color grading, preserving the fabric texture beautifully where subtle shimmer felt exceptionally high-end. Since this fell under ancient-style custom design for Ancient style photography, I also strived to maintain poised and dignified posture. Rather than strictly replicating an official classic outfit, putting on a self-coordinated custom design to explore the character from a fresh perspective brought immense fulfillment. The entire shoot was relaxed, and the final results are my absolute favorite. Fusing everyday aesthetics with an anime persona made this spring studio session an utterly delightful experience.
