I missed the Christmas shoot last year due to a foot injury, but this year I finally caught up with Master Tayue to make up for this year-late Christmas preview. Not only did we make it up, but the shoot results are also highly satisfying, completely maximizing the Christmas atmosphere! Putting on this Kitagawa cosplay Christmas look, donning the blonde wig and the iconic black choker, and wearing the red and white plush Christmas red dress with matching wristbands instantly threw me into that warm winter holiday vibe.

The gear for this Cosplay photography session was the Sony A7M5, paired with a high-quality prime lens. For the venue, we chose a vintage leather sofa as the main prop, complemented by a Christmas tree hung with stars and colorful ornaments, gift boxes scattered on the floor, as well as reindeer plushies and Santa Claus throw pillows, creating a very rich indoor Christmas party feel. The shooting process was actually quite a test of expressiveness, but fortunately, Master Tayue's lighting was extremely precise. The combination of cool background light and a warm main light beautifully outlined the silhouette and the rich details of the plush texture.

In terms of props and outfit coordination, this Christmas dress with a black leather corset is incredibly photogenic. It retains the classic red and white color scheme of Christmas elements while adding a touch of fashionable silhouette. The blonde wig has a great sheen under the top light, presenting a soft, bright effect. We experimented with various perspectives such as standing, kneeling, sitting, and lying flat to capture different visual rhythms, which is exactly what makes this kind of themed shoot so fun. Although it required frequent adjustments to positioning during the process, the final results made all the hard work worth it.

Regarding hair and makeup, this time I selected an orange-gold flaxen wig, with straight bangs and sidelocks to frame my face, making the overall look light and cute. The eye and lip makeup were kept as clear and pinkish-tender as possible, echoing perfectly with the red plush clothing. If any friends want to try a similar Christmas theme shoot, I'd suggest preparing more plush props in matching colors, which can quickly enhance the unity and atmosphere of the frame. Although this was a make-up shoot, the creative experience was truly smooth and exhilarating. I hope everyone enjoys this belated Christmas gift.
