Summer sunlight was quite intense, but finding the right angles yielded great skin textures. Shooting by the water offered diffuse reflections off the surface, casting soft light on the face without harsh shadows. A red lollipop was chosen as a hand-held prop, echoing the orange stripes on the swimsuit while creating a visual focus that introduced a playful, languid charm.
