[Ikuyo Kita cosplay] Genki Storm on the Rooftop: Touching the Sky!

Shooting this photo set of Ikuyo Kita on a sunlit open terrace was mainly to materialize that feeling of breaking free from dark corners and embracing the sunshine. The temperature wasn't high and the weather was dry on the day of the shoot, making it perfect for outdoor photography. I wore a white sailor-style top paired with a gray pleated skirt, accented with a vibrant red ribbon tie. To faithfully match the original setting, I put on a red wig secured with hair accessories, though the wind required constant restyling. Prop-wise, carrying that black-and-gold electric guitar alongside the thick gig bag as a true Guitar girl was much heavier than expected. To capture a natural and effortless posture, I had to continuously release tension and adjust my center of gravity between lifting the guitar, leaning on railings, and striking poses. Many thanks to photographer ACI Ci for guiding my movements and positions throughout. Because the railings and stairs formed many structural lines, we deliberately chose low-angle upward shots to elongate leg lines while utilizing the pure blue sky as negative space to make the composition feel expansive. The harsh sunlight could easily cast heavy shadows on the face, but makeup artist Dingdang Mao handled the hair and makeup with meticulous care; the hues of the eyeshadow and lipstick retained their true-to-life vibrancy under intense light without washing out. During shooting, I constantly maintained high energy—which is perhaps the core charm of such characters. In reality, my leg muscles were aching during breaks, but the moment 'action' was called, I had to snap right back into that vibrant, passionate state. Through the interplay of composition and lighting, this photo series beautifully captured the character's cheerful, pure, and upward-striving vitality.
