I'm only now getting around to organizing and sharing these JK photos; the shooting process was actually quite interesting. Since the post is clearly labeled as cosplay and Anime-style photography, I put a lot of preparation into hair and makeup beforehand. For this JK uniform, I specifically chose a classic sailor suit style. The dark navy bow tie paired with a matching dark navy pleated skirt had great texture against the warm-toned backdrop of the vintage wooden cabin. In terms of styling, the material of the White stockings was key; to accentuate leg lines, I paired them with black loafers, and this black-and-white contrast looked fantastic on camera. The lighting that day really tested the photographer's skill—the backlighting by the window was quite harsh, so we agreed to use window and wooden door frames for composition. In the first shot, I sat on the wooden floor with one leg naturally extended and the other bent, aiming to create a quiet, narrative feel looking straight into the lens, while the low-key post-processing style preserved the rough texture of the wood. The second shot was a crouching pose. Crouching while carrying a large school backpack was quite tiring, so the photographer suggested I brush my hair back with my hand and adopt an observant gaze, which made the image feel much more interactive. The third shot was also a crouching pose, but with my eyes closed and head tilted up to feel the light with my face—this relaxed state created a great contrast with the previous shots. The vintage woven rug and rustic wooden door frame naturally carried a serene atmosphere, perfect for this White stockings and pleated skirt outfit. Throughout the shoot, we also spent time adjusting the pleats of the skirt to make them drape naturally without looking stiff. Overall, I feel that this vintage wooden cabin set achieved exactly what I had hoped for in both outfit coordination and emotional expression, delivering an authentic 2D anime texture.
