Coming to the Chengdu WorldLine convention this time, I finally brought Hsin from Wuthering Waves to the floor. Preparing this convention photoshoot was truly an exacting endeavor. Starting with the wardrobe, the essence of Hsin's design lies in the striking contrast of black, white, and red, accented lavishly with gilded linear motifs. The core bodysuit was tailored from a damask jacquard textile that caught outdoor natural light with rich specular luster—tangibly textured without looking cheap. The tailoring across the bust and waistline was exceptionally form-fitting to accentuate natural curves, though this meant slipping in and out required extreme care to preserve the garment's crisp silhouette.

The sleeve construction stood out as a premier visual highlight. The oversized detached bell sleeves, lined in crimson with gilded embroidery, framed the composition with expansive spatial presence; however, navigating the convention floor required constant vigilance to avoid bumping into passersby. The plush white fur trim along the cuffs added adorable vulpine charm, yet in densely packed convention crowds, it had to be groomed continually to stay fluffy and pristine—free of stray lint or grime that would undermine the final photo quality.

Head styling and makeup consumed the lion's share of prep time. To balance the massive plush ears with their white-to-gray gradient, I gave the wig a customized layered trim, applying highlights along the transition zone to enhance hair strand dimension. The gilded botanical headpiece and the crimson floral forehead mark served as quintessential finishing touches, instantly elevating character recognition. For eye makeup, I elongated the outer corners to channel feline cunning, which, paired with crimson contact lenses, brought forth a lively, subtly predatory spark in the gaze. Capturing a fox spirit's demeanor is paramount—never stiff, always laced with sly wit—so I spent considerable time rehearsing expressions in the mirror.

Foot traffic at Chengdu WorldLine was immense, turning location scouting into a high-precision task. To minimize background pedestrian clutter, the photographer deployed a wide-aperture lens to melt the backdrop into buttery bokeh, centering visual focus entirely on the subject and garment textures. These two captures showcase kneeling and seated postures respectively. The first pose, raising a hand in a playful clawing gesture, was a genuine test of core stability, leaving knees and legs numb after extended takes; the second pose embraced an effortless languor, sitting barefoot on the floor. Given the coarse concrete surface, finding an angle that was both tolerable to hold and visually flattering took multiple resets. The diffuse ambient bounce light on site was wonderfully soft, remarkably flattering both skin textures and fabric weaves.

Overall, I am immensely pleased with these convention return photos; they struck a flawless equilibrium between Hsin's playful sweetness and sensual poise, all while soaking in Chengdu's vibrant convention energy. I plan to continue refining the post-processing for this set and eagerly anticipate sharing the rest of the cuts.
