Actually, this fanmade JK uniform concept for Cartethyia has been lingering in my mind for a long time, and I finally found time to bring it to life. Because the character inherently carries a strong fantasy vibe, I thought combining it with an everyday school style might spark something fresh, so I settled on this theme.
In terms of hair and makeup, to match the character setting, I specifically chose a high-saturation bright blonde straight long wig, paired with white-and-blue pointed elf ear props to immediately highlight her unique recognizability. The branch-shaped forehead hair accessory was also sourced and coordinated by myself, complemented by small blue bow accents, which preserved her original fantasy traits while subtly balancing the casual vibe of the sailor suit.
For the outfit, I picked a light blue sailor-collared short-sleeve JK uniform top, accented with a pink bow tie inside as a detail highlight. The lower body features a matching light blue pleated skirt, giving the overall color palette an exceptionally fresh and airy feel. To align with the "Elf upperclassman" concept, I also paired it with white over-the-knee socks and white platform loafers in this White stockings cosplay. The combination of socks and shoes visually elongates the leg lines while making the entire sailor uniform look more vibrant without feeling dull.
During shooting, we used a pure white backdrop to eliminate outdoor clutter as much as possible, focusing visual attention entirely on the styling and costume. In addition to standard seated and standing poses, to fit the "skipping class scene" concept described in the post, I arranged some casual actions—such as sitting on the floor casually flipping through a book or holding a book playfully over my head. The black leather backpack beside me and scattered manga volumes served as great auxiliary props, enhancing the immersive feel of campus life.
The studio session went very smoothly, and the photographer captured many natural moments. I personally prefer a quiet, slightly lazy mood, so most of the time I didn't force exaggerated poses, aiming instead for a relaxed feeling during class breaks. Truly capturing a character's essence relies not just on clothes and wigs, but on the harmony between expressions and movements. We deliberately adjusted posture angles so both half-body and full-body frames naturally expressed the quiet yet lively contrast of this Elf upperclassman in Wuthering Waves Cartethyia Cosplay.
Overall, this experiment gave the character a new everyday dimension and served as my practical fusion of fantasy props with standard JK uniform cosplay. Maintaining a balance between outfit and character is key; I hope these visuals showcase another charming side of the character, bringing my creative idea to a satisfying completion.
