[Aemeath Cosplay] Wuthering Waves Aemeath Bilibili World On-site Gear Real-shot Record

The schedule at the Bilibili World convention scene was very tight, and I chose to bring Aemeath from Wuthering Waves into reality on this day. Having repeatedly studied the pattern and color matching of the outfit against the original artwork beforehand, I was finally able to present the final state in front of the lens. The entire preparation process, from wig styling to garment tailoring, required a lot of effort.

The focus of the makeup this time was placed on the eyes and the blending of the blush. I selected amber-colored contacts to enhance the depth of the gaze, and the slight redness under the eyes, combined with the negative space treatment on the bridge of the nose, made the overall facial atmosphere look quite soft. The texture of the pink wig is very smooth; I trimmed the hair strands in layers to give it a natural, flowing feel. The blue hair accessory on the head was fixed quite securely, sitting exactly between the bangs and sideburns when viewed from the front, maintaining excellent symmetry.

Putting on the gear was actually the most time-consuming part of the entire styling. The white outerwear material is relatively stiff, making it necessary to ensure that the tailoring at the shoulders and neck perfectly conforms to the body shape. The collar structure formed by the black bow tie and golden pieces is crisp and sharp, with the central sapphire decoration accented just right. The heart-shaped red patchwork pattern on the chest is a visual focus, popping out vividly within the white main color scheme. The wing accessories on the arms fit the arm lines closely when worn, without any awkward feeling hindering joint movement.

As for the props, the size and grip of this staff made me very satisfied. The translucent grayish-white cylinder at the top is connected to a strongly metallic golden ring, and the base combines different shades of blue, with the layered design of the outer white wings adding depth and weight to the prop. In a packed environment like the convention, the prop still remained stable without any breakage or loosening, providing excellent assistance for the shoot.

The two scenes selected in the photos each have distinct features. The first one was taken inside a car; at that time, there was ample natural light outside the window shining right in, forming a bright highlight on the wig and softening the facial contours of the entire person. The second one was shot on-site at the Bilibili World convention, with other booth owners and passersby in the background environment, capturing the hustle and bustle of the convention scene entirely into the backdrop. I think that under different lighting environments, the atmosphere conveyed by the character has subtle differences. Indoor lighting, though complex, happens to highlight the details of the makeup, while natural light appears more translucent.

This cosplay experience also left me with another feeling: this kind of finely customized costume, though cumbersome to put on and take off, only reveals its true alignment with the character once it's on your body. I spent a few days adapting to the weight of the boots and props to ensure I could walk freely at the convention. When interacting with fellow fans, everyone's attention to the details of the gear also showed that this look stands its ground in terms of accuracy. If there are suitable scenes in the upcoming plans, I should take some more story-driven photos on this basis to better express my understanding of this character. Every appearance is a new attempt, and a high level of completion gives me a great sense of achievement.
