I got highly satisfying finalized photos from this Honor of Kings Flash Project offline event. Massive thanks to fansite master @东方即晓lynn for the on-site snapshots. As expected, an active fansite master's control over the lens is incredible, and the final photos turned out even better than I anticipated.

The look I did this time is Xishi's academic style outfit, which is also a set I personally love from the Flash Project. The overall clothing follows an academic style uniform line. The upper body features a light blue cropped blazer jacket with sharp tailoring, layered over a pure white turn-down collar shirt and paired with a dark navy blue tie. Two diamond-shaped metal collar pins are pinned on both sides of the collar, instantly maxing out the student vibe. The lower body is paired with a dark blue pleated miniskirt with subtle plaid, and the hem has an inner layer of light-colored plaid patching, giving the design a wonderful sense of layering. Around the waist is a dark wide waist-cincher featuring a metal star-shaped buckle in front, adorned with a few slender metal vertical bars, adding a touch of lively design element on top of the academic style.

For the hair and makeup, a black straight wig with straight bangs and long twin-tails was used. On top of the head, a dark blue plaid headband was worn, embellished with silver-white metal small clips/flower decorations, and the ends of the hair on both sides were tied with small white bow hair bands, making the entire headpiece match the blue-and-white color palette of the clothing perfectly. The makeup chose a relatively daily and refreshing tone, slightly intensifying the blush and applying a reddish lip gloss to make the overall look more energetic. The earrings and the rings on my fingers were also clever styling details, and these details look excellent when shot within a normal social distance.

The lighting in the shooting environment this time was evenly bright, and the background was very clean, so the images shot by the fansite master emphasized and highlighted the character itself. During the shoot, the fansite master was excellent at guiding actions; for instance, the action of fixing my hair in the photo was captured as a snapshot, making my entire state look exceptionally relaxed and natural without the stiffness of deliberate posing. Because the official outfit details provided by the Flash Project are highly rich, combined with the fansite master's dedication to camera composition and angles, the finalized imagery possesses both the accuracy of the Honor of Kings character and a very authentic feel of daily life.

The happiest time doing cosplay is putting on the character's clothing, standing in front of the lens, and bringing the 2D character into reality through the collaboration of costume, makeup, props, and the photographer. This experience made me realize more profoundly how vital a reliable on-site photographer is—excellent snapshots and post-processing color grading can truly bestow a completely different vitality upon a set of cosplay works. I am highly satisfied with this offline output for the Flash Project, and it felt quite fresh for me to try this kind of school-vibe look. Next, I will continue to work hard and invest myself in what I love, looking forward to meeting different characters next time and taking more photos filled with memories to enrich my cosplayer daily life.
