For this Honor of Kings Xiao Qiao · Manga Sorceress themed shoot, I specifically wanted to capture that sense of dreaminess against a modern urban backdrop. Choosing the night view under the Oriental Pearl Tower as the location and utilizing the city's brilliant lights as a background was not only to echo the "Defense Tower" element in the work but also to build an atmosphere that transcends time and space. Under the shifting city lights, the Manga Sorceress's elegant and mysterious texture is well-reflected, as if the character is standing on the edge of reality and illusion. In terms of costume details, the color scheme of white and deep purple is very high-end, and the texture of every fold and accessory has been carefully considered. During the shooting, I kept trying to find that moment of "making a wish to a shooting star" amidst the interwoven light and shadow. This kind of romance belonging to Anime-style photography is not just simple costume restoration, but a deeper emotional delivery. In post-processing, I especially strengthened the use of cool tones to echo the Manga Sorceress's cold temperament as a time controller. Every frame under the lens strives to show the character's internal characteristics of protection and slight melancholy. Through this collision of light, shadow, and color, I hope to bring everyone a visual enjoyment of a better vision for tomorrow.
