This Cissia cosplay outfit is genuinely packed with details. Starting with the outer glossy black leather vest: to capture that form-fitting, tactical techwear silhouette, I selected a medium-weight PU leather that holds its shape without feeling overly stifling, tailored snugly to my body lines. The undeniable visual anchor is the pink chest panel printed with a dynamic anime graphic—one of the most iconic hallmarks of this costume. The shoulders feature an asymmetrical treatment: one side boasts a white puff sleeve laced with black straps, while the other is a sleek, black leather shoulder strap. The white lettering printed along the straps was custom-ordered to match official references down to every detail. To keep this asymmetrical collar and strap firmly in place, I tested multiple snap-button positions so nothing would slip or disrupt the frame during wide dynamic movements.
For the lower half, a leather pleated skirt accented with golden star charms adds rich dimensional layering. The sheer black Stockings paired with leather garters and metal buckles serve as the true crowning touch of this look. I chose semi-sheer stockings, ensuring the cutout crisscross straps hugged the contours of my legs seamlessly without bunching up to guarantee optimal on-camera fidelity. During the shoot, to explore diverse perspectives, I tested both upright stances and slightly forward-leaning poses to best accentuate the lines of the garters and stockings while preserving the structure of the pleated skirt so it wouldn't warp from large movements.
As for the hair, the bright yellow twintails required not just accurate color, but extensive layering, cutting, and shaping. The black ribbon and white pom-pom hair accessories atop the crown, along with the wisps of bangs framing the forehead, were proportioned strictly to character art. To give the twintails an authentic silhouette, I teased the roots and backcombed the inner layers for voluminous lift. In terms of makeup, the crimson contact lenses were the soul of the look; deepening the outer corners of the eyeshadow aligned with the overall techwear vibe, bringing out an edgy, slightly dangerous aura. To heighten that sharp intensity, I winged the eyeliner upward slightly and swept highlighter across the center of my face to sculpt three-dimensional facial features.
On the prop side, that colossal polearm weapon carried serious physical weight. Designed like a white serpentine or draconic whip-blade, its mesh texture and scaly patterns were sculpted with incredible craftsmanship. Holding it steady during poses demanded genuine arm strength, requiring careful coordination between the weapon and my body lines to radiate fierce combat tension. Because of its weight, I frequently rested it against supports between takes to keep my arms from trembling after holding it aloft.
In post-production, high-saturation pink graffiti elements were composited into the background to echo the pink accents on the garment, amplifying the cyberpunk edge and visual impact. From garment tailoring and textile contrasts to hair, makeup, and prop choreography, I am thoroughly satisfied with the execution of this styling. I hope this photo set brings out the character's signature allure to the fullest.
