To restore the dreamy atmosphere of Saigyouji Yuyuko lingering beneath the cherry blossoms, I put a lot of consideration into the location selection and styling for this shoot. To embody the artistic conception of 'a millennium-long dream,' I specifically chose to find the softest light and shadow in the cherry blossom scenes, striving to make the image present a beauty of combining the virtual and the real. The layered design of the clothing and the silk texture, combined with the folding fan that serves as a finishing touch, aims to restore the unique ethereal beauty of the character. While participating in the '2D Vision Project,' I have been thinking about how to balance the gorgeousness of the clothing with the harmony of the overall environment, avoiding excessive accumulation that leads to the loss of the character's own agility. For this look, I spent a lot of energy on detail handling, especially the lace details on the hair accessories and hat, which have great texture under the lens. I hope the composition of every photo can bring the audience an immersive feeling of being in a dream, capturing that silence of falling cherry blossoms. The finished work is very much in line with the Yuyuko in my heart.
