Putting on this dress of Marisa, I instantly felt like I had caught a bit of the magician's energy. The black and white color scheme paired with the iconic star patterns, along with that big hat large enough to almost block my sight, is indeed very faithful to the setting in Touhou Project. The wig is that very bright blonde; during styling, it was specially curled to have a fluffy volume. Together with the white ruffled apron and black Mary Jane shoes, the overall style leans towards a slightly cutter side of Marisa. Actually, this outfit has quite a few details, such as the golden star embroidery on the apron and the lace trim on the skirt hem, which create a great sense of layering when coordinated. The sleeves feature a lantern sleeve design, which puffs up at the cuffs when raising arms, giving a unique vintage feel. During photography, I tried out a few poses, like holding and lifting the skirt hem, or resting my chin in both hands, which I felt beautifully matched the character's lively yet slightly tsundere personality. Although Marisa usually gives off a carefree and casual impression, this combination adds a touch of refinement and sweetness. I spent a bit of thought while tidying up the accessories, especially the large purple bowknot on the hat, as its placement would look very abrupt if incorrect. This time I tried pairing the long curly hair with the hat, hoping to present a more vivid magician image. I hope everyone likes this kind of cosplay presentation style with a slight touch of everyday life.
