[Ye Shunguang Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero disciple of Mount Kuishan answers the call

This set of Zenless Zone Zero Ye Shunguang styling took nearly a month to prepare from pattern making to the final shoot. The main body's white asymmetrical cut of the clothes heavily tests the tailor's skill, especially the stitching of the high side slit, which needs to ensure no accidental exposure while posing while maintaining the drape of the fabric. For the grey waist strap and metal ring accessories, I compared several materials and finally chose matte-textured hardware to avoid exaggerated reflections under stage lighting. The wig was the most headache-inducing part: straight bangs plus light brown long straight hair, with hair ends extremely prone to tangling. I used a lot of smoothing spray and hairspray before going out to fix it. The kemonomimi on top of the head are fixed to the hair net using dual hair clips and magnetic suction, with support padded inside to ensure they won't tilt under intense movements. In terms of makeup, red contact lenses and the red tattoo body painting on the legs are the focus; the leg pattern was drawn bit by bit using body paint, taking about half an hour, and I was very careful throughout the shoot to avoid smudging it. The details of the prop sword are quite intricate; the red tassel on the hilt and the yellow tassel under the crossguard easily tangle together when waved. When shooting the pose in Figure 2 of lifting the leg and swinging the sword, I repeatedly adjusted my grip. Although the black platform high-heeled boots flatter the leg shape very well, the center of gravity is extremely difficult to control. Coupled with a huge plush tail behind me, I had to rely on waist strength to maintain balance. To capture the dynamics of the skirt hem and tail, a powerful fan was used on-site, and the long red ribbons were hard to control in terms of direction in the wind. The white bright streak running through the frame in Figure 1 was the effect produced when lighting was tested with the fan, but I personally prefer Figure 2, because that moment of rising into the air while wielding the sword better matches Ye Shunguang's decisive combat style. Although the whole process was tedious, the complete presentation of hair, makeup, costume, and props truly gave me a deeper understanding of the aura of the disciple of Mount Kuishan.
