Shooting Evelyn from Zenless Zone Zero this time, the costume details are truly exquisite. To restore this outfit, I put a lot of effort into the materials. The black glossy leather pants are the soul of the entire outfit; they are very form-fitting when worn and also have high requirements for body shape. The luster of the patent leather is exceptionally photogenic under the lights, paired with black leather long gloves and a tie with golden accents, giving the overall look a capable yet dangerous temperament. The top is a white sleeveless shirt, paired with a black mesh inner layer and a leather harness, providing very rich layering. The lining of the outer cape is red, coupled with golden piping, and when making large movements, the red-and-black contrast has great visual tension. The golden wig and purple contact lenses are also the finishing touches, and the eye makeup adopts a slightly reddish smudging to match the character's aura.
The shooting location was chosen at P2 Space, where the background was decorated with a large number of speakers, mixing consoles, and retro televisions. The color blocks on the screens and the V-shaped light tubes at the top created a combined sense of cyberpunk and backstage of a stage. Holding the short blade prop in hand, cooperating with body postures, it was very easy to get into character. This set of photos tried different actions, including moments with the cape fluttering, sword-raising postures, and sitting postures. I really like the sitting posture set; the leg-crossing action can well showcase the texture of the glossy leather pants and leg lines, while also presenting a poised and unhurried feeling.
During the photo-shooting process, balancing coolness and sexiness was a key focus. Because the leather jacket material itself carries a bit of toughness, I intentionally relaxed a bit in the action design to avoid making the overall look appear too stiff. The reflections produced by the light hitting the patent leather also gave the frames more texture.
The caption says I only want to protect you, which fits the character's persona very well. In fact, every time I do a cosplay, it's to strive to fit the soul of the character. From costume and props to gaze and actions, I hope to bring a better visual experience to everyone. Shooting in the studio this time, although wearing tight leather pants restricted movement somewhat, seeing the effect of the finished photos made everything feel worthwhile. I hope everyone can feel this charm coming from Evelyn.
