[Perseus cosplay] Azur Lane: Consultation Hour with the Little Nurse

Putting on this Nurse outfit cosplay left me feeling a bit nervous at first, as Perseus's gentle and endearing airheaded charm is quite a contrast to my usual lively personality. But once I pinned on the nurse cap, tied the red-and-blue color-blocked sash, and tied up my Pink twintails, looking into the mirror instantly brought me into character. The garment tailoring offers a snug, refined silhouette; the collar and waistline maintain a clean medical aesthetic while infusing a playful anime-style flair. White over-the-knee stockings paired with chunky high heels lengthen lower-body proportions, and I specifically used various seated poses during the shoot to evoke different atmospheric moods.

The shooting day brought its own tweaks and turns. The cool-toned blue studio backdrop risked washing out my pink hair and white uniform, so the photographer and I repeatedly adjusted fill-light angles. The resulting palette seamlessly weaves blue, white, and soft pink for an extraordinarily crisp visual tone. Holding a clipboard and brown medicine bottles made me truly feel like an onboard medical officer on duty, almost wanting to ask the camera, "Where does it hurt?" The round yellow plush toy stole the spotlight, bringing a lively pop of energy whether cradled in my arms or resting on the desk.

Speaking of props, beyond the standard clipboard and pen, those small brown glass medicine vials served as the true finishing touch. Handling them made my hand gestures far more natural and fluid without forced posing. Crossing my legs while sitting in the office chair, or extending my legs while seated on the white tabletop, best highlighted the garment's cut and fit. The combination of white stockings with white heels against the blue-and-white background looked as pristine and smooth as fresh cream.

Although this shoot lacked intricate outdoor backdrops, the clean, minimalist White stockings medical style set better highlighted character lore and garment tailoring details.
