[Baltimore cosplay] Azur Lane Bridal Baltimore: A Dreamy Fusion of White Lace and Elf Ears

From initial prep to the actual shoot, this Azur Lane bridal Baltimore cosplay took about two weeks. In the game, Baltimore is typically known for her sharp and cool persona, but her oath skin offers a completely delightful contrast. To match this bridal softness, I specifically chose a white camisole dress adorned with intricate lace embroidery. The dress has a rather form-fitting cut, so I deliberately adjusted my diet and routine the week prior to look my best.

In terms of accessories, beyond the sheer veil, I added blue floral hair ornaments and elf ears props. The elf ears lent a touch of fairytale fantasy to the overall styling. The long lace gloves on my arms echoed the white lace-trimmed over-the-knee socks (White stockings), which paired seamlessly with clear high heels embellished with rhinestones and bows, uniting the palette in pure white and soft pastel tones. For makeup, I opted for reddish-brown eyeshadow and rich red lips; paired with the chin-length short wig, it sculpted my facial contours without appearing overly mature. The key was a dewy, translucent base and delicate blending around the eyes to ensure the skin texture remained smooth and luminous under intense studio lighting.

Set design was the true highlight of this production. To honor the bridal theme, the scene incorporated abundant white drapes, white Roman pillars, and a wrought-iron bed frame. Purple blossoms and blue foliage were accented throughout, and white birdcages were filled with flowers. We also brought in several quirky yellow bird plushies, infusing a lively, playful touch into an otherwise formal setting. As for lighting, the photographer adopted a high-key approach, keeping the entire image airy, crisp, and radiant.

During the session, I explored multiple poses to accentuate the dress layers and silhouette. Crossing my legs while seated on the white iron chair highlighted both the leg lines and the heels' details; kneeling on the floor holding the yellow plushie appeared sweet and spirited; and a seated pose with arms raised overhead visually elongated my body frame. The pose where I rested a foot on the plush toy was a spontaneous idea—that touch of cheeky contrast fits Baltimore's tomboyish charm perfectly.

The entire shoot went wonderfully. Staging the floral arrangements and dialing in the lights took immense patience, but thankfully the final texture turned out beautifully translucent. Beyond just the gorgeous gown, the overall dreamy atmosphere was deeply satisfying. Here are a few finished shots—I hope you can all feel this blend of fantasy and playful charm.
