This shoot features the classic School uniform from Date A Live. The silver-white short hair wig required careful styling to maintain a light, airy volume, while light blue contact lenses added that signature cool, aloof 2D atmosphere to the eyes. The key to recreating this look lies in the black blazer with white trim, the vibrant red bow at the collar, and the embroidered academy crest on the chest—nailing these details is essential to capturing the character's essence.

The shoot took place in a pure white indoor photo studio, where abundant soft light perfectly highlighted the texture of the black patent leather bag and metal classroom desks and chairs. Stripping away background clutter allows focus to stay on costume colors and fine details. In Cosplay photoshoot setups, arranging prop desks and chairs really tests layout skills; for instance, hanging the school bag on the chair back or placing it on the desk enriches visual layering while making the school uniform daily vibe feel far more natural.

In terms of camera expression, we experimented with various compositions—such as sitting on a chair with one leg raised high, gripping the edge of the schoolbag with both hands, or leaning against the desk edge. Since white lace stockings paired with glossy black loafers elongate leg lines beautifully, coordinating skirt pleats with leg contours became crucial in camera frames. To keep the lace stockings smooth during shooting, I occasionally stopped to adjust the elastic band near my knees to prevent fabric wrinkling.

Shooting the sitting photos where I tie shoe laces really tested the chemistry between model and photographer. Leaning down naturally to adjust the bow tie at the top of the stocking while keeping facial angles and eye contact aligned with the lens requires careful coordination. To complement the overall styling tone, the makeup remained clean and translucent, skipping complex eyeshadow and relying solely on eyeliner to define eye contours. Paired with light blue lenses, this created a captivating contrast that felt both distant and intimate.

Regarding costume coordination, a few dark stripes on the side of the pleated skirt enhance the uniform's design recognition. The lace patterns on the white stockings, paired with delicate small bows, harmonize perfectly with the overall 2D aesthetic. When posing with the photographer, adjusting body balance is crucial—for example, resting your center of gravity on the chair edge while raising a leg without looking stiff requires tight core control.

Even though the shoot was conducted indoors, it still tested physical stamina considerably. Switching between challenging poses on desk surfaces and chairs required maintaining neat skirt pleats and styled wig layering. Fortunately, working seamlessly with the photographer allowed us to capture perfect angles with every shutter click. Post-processing preserved a luminous white transparency, clearly showcasing fabric textures, leg contours, and shoe gloss.
