[Yixuan Cosplay] Cold-Glam Secret Agent of Zenless Zone Zero, Interweaving Patent Leather and Silver Hair

For this Yixuan cosplay photoshoot, a lot of thought went into everything from the makeup test to the actual shooting. What I want to discuss most is the material choice for this outfit: the outer black patent leather jacket outfit demanded a lot from the lighting during studio shooting. A slight misalignment in angle could cause overexposed glare, but conversely, once the light positioning was right, the fluid sheen matched the character's crisp yet mysterious aura perfectly. The light blue collar and gold metal buckles of the inner shirt served as the finishing touches in the overall black-and-white color scheme; to keep the overall look from feeling too heavy, I cinched the waist, which, combined with the white asymmetrical skirt hem, created very pronounced layering when walking or moving. Many people asked why I chose this pose—in fact, the pose of resting a hand on the hip while touching the hair is classic for secret agent roles, as it lets the coat hem flare out naturally while sweeping the silver-white hair into a beautiful curve. The wig used featured high-gloss straight hair, with the ahoge on top and the small black bow on the side adjusted by hand to maintain a subtly messy yet exquisite look. As for the black pantyhose on the lower body, it was intentionally chosen to make the overall outfit visually elongate my silhouette while creating a striking contrast with the white skirt to boost visual appeal. A solid grey-blue backdrop was used for this shoot, free of distracting items, aimed at directing the viewer's focus onto the character herself—especially the reflective details of the patent leather and the cool, clean facial makeup. The makeup specifically emphasized the contours of eyeliner and eyeshadow, which, combined with pink contact lenses, gave the gaze a feeling of aloof detachment while remaining sharp and penetrating. During the shoot, we actually experimented with several dynamic candid shots, such as turning around or tilting the head slightly under sidelight, but this shot was ultimately chosen because it best balanced costume completeness, body poise, and an overall calm, confident aura. This kind of highly customized cosplay genuinely tests one's understanding of the character setting; although on the surface it might seem like just wearing a black-and-white dress, every cut and distribution of accessories must echo the core of the character's personality. As a cosplayer, I prefer maintaining a relatively restrained yet powerful state in front of the lens, avoiding overly exaggerated expressions in favor of letting the outfit's texture and body language convey emotion.
