Taking advantage of the Mid-Autumn festive atmosphere, I shot this cosplay set for Yixuan from Zenless Zone Zero. I had actually been conceptualizing this setting for a long time, eventually settling on this vintage-styled bar. The ambient environment was rather dim, but the warm golden backlighting from the liquor shelves carved out the subject's silhouette flawlessly, aligning with the exact mood I wanted to evoke.

For the wardrobe, I chose a long-sleeved jacket made of black Patent leather—a material exceptionally sensitive to light, catching specular highlights and revealing distinct tactile textures with the slightest shift in angle. Paired with a white shirt collar and azure floral brooches, it established a striking black-and-white visual contrast. To accentuate the character's persona, the lower body was styled with Black stockings and a tailored mini skirt. In terms of makeup and styling, I deepened the dimensional layers of the eye makeup, wore light-colored contact lenses, and placed luminous highlights across the tip of my nose and inner eye corners, striving to project an exquisite yet dangerous visual edge on camera. The wig was trimmed and pre-styled beforehand; the signature rebellious cowlick tuft curling at the crown took substantial hairspray to structure, and the black hair accessory nestled in the bangs underwent repeated repositioning.

The shooting process was remarkably engaging. To honor Master's composed, unflappable, yet languid disposition, we dedicated significant care to choreographing physical movements. For example, when perched along the counter edge, I crossed my legs to let their elongated lines enrich the composition. Holding a rocks glass filled with amber liquor, gazing directly down the lens with a subtly tilted head, I sought to project an aura of tipsy intoxication anchored by razor-sharp lucidity. Another shot—gently touching an index finger to my lips in a 'shh' gesture—was captured dynamically during discussions with the photographer, designed to unveil a hint of teasing seduction under that specific scenario. Barefoot in stockings stepping onto the green velvet barstool was an idea meant to introduce an unforced, casual intimacy to the frame while letting the glossy sheen of the Black stockings catch the lights with maximum allure.

The bottles of whiskey, crystal tumblers, and vintage briefcase scattered across the counter served not merely as props, but as tactile anchors that drew me deeper into the character's skin. Every press of the shutter demanded tight control over breath and micro-expressions; the crisp rustle of the Patent leather with each shift in posture organically helped lock in my mood. The chiaroscuro lighting was a crowning highlight: side-rim lighting caressing the hair strands and leather contours forged gorgeous separation, pulling the figure three-dimensionally out of the moody, shadowed background.

From preliminary preparation to wrapping the final frame, this entire production went through endless refinements. From fabric selection and ambient lighting design to polishing every glance and fingertip angle, everything was tailored to faithfully revive that uniquely magnetic Yixuan living in my heart. I hope this collection shot during Mid-Autumn night brings everyone a delightfully refreshing perspective on this holiday's spirit.
