[Astra Yao cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero, Lyre Duo Grassland Atmosphere Duo Cosplay Photoset Under the Blue Sky - Image 1

The 4.29 Lyre duo outdoor duo cosplay photoset is officially released. This time, partnering with PJ to jointly recreate the daily atmosphere of the Lyre duo from Zenless Zone Zero, with Muke in charge of photography. To match the characters' temperament, we specially chose a grassland with a gentle slope as the main scene, set against an exceptionally clear blue sky.

I cosplayed Astra Yao this time. The biggest focal point of the entire look lies in the wig and hair accessories; the ultra-long straight black hair almost reaches my knees, adorned with delicate hair accessories on the side. Paired with a white plush-trimmed top and a black short skirt, the overall visual effect is both cool and carries a hint of lazy, high-end elegance. PJ's Evelyn look offers a sleek style that echoes it perfectly, with short blonde hair paired with a white top, a black belt, and trousers, looking both capable and elegant. These two distinct yet coordinated outfits collided to create wonderful tension within the same frame.

The lighting conditions on the day of the shoot were ideal, with the sunlight hitting the grass in a slightly warm tone. The photographer Muke is excellent at handling this kind of natural light; during the entire process, we barely used complex lighting equipment, relying completely on the natural ambient light to render the frame.

Windy days indeed brought some minor challenges to the outdoor shoot, as the wigs and hemlines kept fluttering intensely in the lens. However, precisely because of this uncontrollable breeze, the static photos gained a dynamic vitality instead. Muke's lens frequently captured moments of us standing on the grassy slope, looking up, or leaning close to each other. The composition, which leaves a large area of blue sky in the upper half of the frame, feels incredibly breathable, while the foreground-blurred grassy slope beautifully increases the layers and depth of field of the image.

In terms of character portrayal, we wanted to present a sense of daily life when the two are alone, rather than an aggressive combat state. Astra Yao is actually a character with a rich inner world but a composed demeanor. Expressing this state through body language and eye interaction is much more convincing than pure forced posing. PJ also controlled it very precisely during the interaction; her interpretation of Evelyn carried an innate cool and decisive aura, forming a highly comfortable combination with my Astra Yao.

For me, the charm of cosplay has never been just putting on a costume identical to the original work, but rather getting closer to the character's core in a real environment. This shooting experience made me feel exceptionally comfortable. We didn't need to intentionally cater to the camera, nor did we chase exaggerated, gorgeous displays; we just needed to be ourselves in the breeze. The final photoset's atmosphere completely exceeded expectations, looking natural and clean. Thanks to Muke's meticulous recording and PJ's full investment, this duo cosplay photoset stands as a highly significant milestone for our Lyre duo. This is a wonderful addition to our Anime-style photography journey.
