The afternoon sunlight is just perfect, shining on the wooden fences and the white shirt, bringing an inexplicably relaxing sense of healing. Today, a simple afternoon tea scene was set up on the outdoor wooden terrace. With strawberry milk and puff pastry paired together, the colors in the frame naturally become vibrant. During the shoot, the photographer told me to relax as much as possible without making forced poses. In fact, wearing this uniform while sitting on a chair drinking juice or standing by the railing zoning out fits the temperament of this outfit much better than intentionally striking poses. Because I particularly favor this slice-of-life feel, I tried my best to recreate that lazy and casual vibe in my movements. The halo prop above my head creates a beautiful glow under backlighting, but we had to be mindful of the angle during the shoot to prevent the wig from getting too messy in the wind.

Every time I do this kind of school-themed project, I pay special attention to the combination of the costume and props. This campus style outfit paired with a carton of strawberry milk—although just an ordinary prop—instantly pulls the frame into a relaxed, everyday feel. Holding it in my hand, I feel as if even the surrounding air has slowed down. Sometimes cosplay isn't just about putting on clothes and wearing a wig; it's about blending into that specific atmosphere. To be a professional cosplayer, one must capture the state the character should be in at that exact moment, making it a wonderful part of cosplay photography.

I also put some thought into the makeup for this look. To match the light pink hair and the fresh color palette, the base makeup was intentionally made quite thin and sheer, and the eye makeup avoided heavy colors, focusing instead on using eyeliner to outline bright and spirited eyes. Nowadays, many people think cosplay requires heavy makeup, but adjusting the intensity of the makeup based on the character and the shooting environment is actually a highly sophisticated skill. To present a soft state under natural light, the transition between highlights and shadows is particularly crucial; there shouldn't be obvious patches of color, which is essential to showcasing a lightweight and natural texture.

The shooting process was actually quite fun. The photographer was excellent at capturing candid moments. Many frames that look effortless were actually captured instantly while we were chatting or adjusting our positions. For example, in that shot of me standing by the wooden railing drinking juice, the wind blew up my hair just right, and the light hit my face at an angle, making it feel like time had stopped. Sometimes the meaning of being a cosplayer is just like this: being able to experience life fragments of different characters through various styles, replicating the beauty of the 2D world in reality.

The location this time had a strong summer feel. The green plants were highly saturated, and paired with the raw wood floor and the white fence, the color combination was very clean. Enhanced by the embellishments of desserts and juice props, the temperament of the entire photo set settled into an effortless, subtle freshness and everyday atmosphere as part of this outdoor daily life. I hope anyone viewing this set can also feel this relaxation and comfort. After all, in a fast-paced life, being able to steal half a day of leisure to enjoy sweets and sunshine is a very blissful thing in itself.
