This is the moment of the full moon—the full screen is filled with the full moon. I can finally recreate that serene yet slightly tech-infused atmosphere surrounding Yuno. For this gear-themed studio shoot, I specially matched a background featuring a huge gear clock and pure white Roman pillars, paired with blue and white bouquets, hoping to get as close as possible to the unique aesthetics of interwoven machinery and fantasy in the world of Wuthering Waves.
This high-ponytail blue hair twin tails wig underwent multiple adjustments. To recreate the layering of Yuno's twin tails, the flow of the hair strands on the back of the head and the bangs were reprocessed. Paired with golden hair accessories, it looks visually lighter. As for the costume, the main color scheme of interwoven white and gold paired with the asymmetric cut at the waist, along with the highly metallic armguards and chest details, perfectly showcases the character's sleekness and vivid temperament in front of the lens. The straps on the shoes and legs were specially chosen as white bands with a certain width paired with golden buckles to fit the character setting. Throughout the process of walking around and sitting down during the shoot, the tightness of the straps had to be adjusted constantly; they couldn't be tied too tightly to restrict movement, nor could they be too loose, which would look less refined.
During the shoot, the photographer paid great attention to the use of light and shadow. Especially the massive gear clock in the background—it wasn't just a backdrop, but felt more like it initiated a dialogue about time with the character. The cool blue and white lighting made the overall frame look clean and translucent. Under the lens, Yuno's gaze could be gentle or slightly cool, and I tried my best to manage the switching between these two emotions. When preparing props, I specially took a blue bead as a handheld item. The bright blue accent provided a wonderful highlighting effect between the white skirt and golden decorations.
This time, I tried some asymmetrical sitting postures, combined with crossed legs and the ankle straps, hoping to display Yuno's uniquely relaxed and confident side. I could feel that this outfit has an excellent flowing quality during both the indoor studio shooting and dynamic snapshots. As a deeply invested participant, achieving a well-suited character expression requires a lot of adjustments over minor details. From the wig to the costume and the control of the overall atmosphere, I hope I have done justice to the charm of this character.
