The ruffled layers of the headpiece are very distinct, stacking up layer by layer to form a fluffy curve. The upper body features a light blue halter neck design, a style that beautifully showcases the lines of the collarbone and shoulders/neck, while the off-shoulder long sleeves connected to both sides bring a very soft visual effect. The material of the sleeves is semi-transparent tulle, with the edges entirely trimmed with exquisite white lace and subtle pleats, which should look very flowing when walking. The giant dark blue bow connected at the waist is the most conspicuous heavily crafted area of this outfit; it not only has a great drape but is also adorned with three-dimensional lace appliqués, making the entire waist look exceptionally straight and layered.
The skirt hem adopts an irregular multi-layered cut, covered with a layer of semi-transparent sheer tulle on the outside, and a ring of white ruffles at the very bottom, looking incredibly lightweight. Yuyuko in Touhou Project has always had a calm yet powerful aura, plus the humorous nickname "Gensokyo's Stomach Lady" widely circulated among players, adding a sense of familiarity beneath her gorgeous appearance. Only after actually putting on this complex gear can one experience that this layer-upon-layer complexity is precisely the concrete embodiment of the character's unique temperament, excellently externalizing the ease and comfort in her personality.
The light blue fabric of the inner layer feels great to the touch, and the lace mesh inside the skirt hem is also processed very delicately. Coordinated with the ruffles and tulle on the outside, the entire costume feels quite substantial when held in hand. However, the effect of this heavy weight presented in the mirror is fantastic, with both the premium feel and character accuracy perfectly in place. Having the privilege to obtain this actual item this time, the try-on result indeed exceeded my initial expectations.
