[Implacable cosplay] Restoring the detailed aesthetics of Azur Lane - Image 2

Attempting to challenge Implacable from Azur Lane this time was truly a very painstaking production process. To restore that ultimate exquisite feeling of a figure, I made many meticulous considerations in the layered design of the clothing, especially the drape of the sleeves and the metallic texture of the headwear; I hoped every detail could precisely align with the visual standards of the "2D Vision Project." At the shooting site, in order to restore the character's quiet yet powerful Atmosphere, I repeatedly adjusted my sitting posture and eye focus, hoping to delicately express this elegant sense of oppression. To achieve the best visual effect, I also spent a lot of thought on the arrangement of light and shadow, attempting to reveal a flowing aesthetic in the static composition. Although the entire creation and shooting cycle was quite long, and I even spent a lot of time polishing certain parts, the moment I saw the finished product highly consistent with the original painting/figure, this sense of achievement was irreplaceable. This process of restoration from 2D to 3D is exactly the meaning of why I love cosplay, and I hope it brings you the same heart-fluttering feeling.
