The costume chosen for this shoot is the classic outfit of Columbina from Genshin Impact, with an overall color scheme dominated by white complemented by soft light blue gradients, creating rich layering.

The tailoring features extensive off-the-shoulder cuts and crisscross strapping. The white ribbon ties at the shoulders and wrists flatter the body silhouette while adding a touch of whimsical sensory experience to the overall look. The white bow on the chest, white wing ornaments on the shoulders, and blue gradient structure on the skirt hem all required careful, repeated adjustments during dressing. Especially worth mentioning is the blue-and-gold metallic brooch, which played a critical role in authenticity. Golden crescent moon patterns dotting the lower hem also serve as visual anchors, together forming the character's core visual markers.

For the wig, I selected a long straight black wig with pink inner highlights. The color gradients at the hair tips and bangs pop vibrantly against the dark base tone, greatly enhancing character recognition. To match the character lore in makeup, I wore purple contact lenses, paired with subtle eye makeup and pink-toned lips, striving to convey a unique temperament that combines mystery with soft gentleness.

For the set, we specially constructed a dreamy white real-scene studio. Multi-layered white gauze and lace drapes were used in the background to build depth and a hazy atmosphere. Props included European vintage carved mirror frames, table flower arrangements of white roses and green leaves, Roman column ornaments, alongside red-and-blue bound books and exquisite white tea sets. The foreground featured a white wrought-iron lantern with a plush white cushion, unifying the set's color palette under soft glows of pale purple and pinkish-white without feeling cluttered.

The biggest challenge during this photoshoot was managing garment fit and shape—particularly the off-the-shoulder positioning and white ribbons along both arms, which needed constant re-adjusting to maintain optimal form on camera and prevent shifting from subtle movements. Reflectors and softboxes were heavily used throughout lighting setup to ensure costume fabrics rendered a soft, ethereal flow.

The theme of this shoot is closely tied to the \"Song of the Empty Moon\". While I cannot fully embody the character's height of existence, through this costume and meticulously designed set, I sought to convey that serene, elegant ambiance. By using hand gestures to lead visual focal points alongside varied half-body framing angles, I strived to capture her quiet mystery and composure.

When preparing this work, I repeatedly referenced in-game setting details, tweaking everything from wig highlight placement to the crisscross direction of chest straps. With many props on set, maintaining clean composition required significant time tuning depth of field and camera angles. The final selected images center the character cleanly without collage editing, allowing visual focus to settle perfectly on rich character and costume details.

Every time I complete a Genshin Impact cosplay shoot filled with such intricate details, I gain a deeper appreciation for the character. Though the outfit is complex, the moment I put it on and saw costume and set echoing each other seamlessly, all early preparation felt deeply rewarding. I hope this work allows everyone to feel the serenity and elegance unique to this character.
