This shoot was set on this red arch bridge in the city, where the sunlight was amazing, and shooting with backlighting captured many unexpected flare effects. The school uniform is a custom-made beige V-neck vest plus a grey-blue pleated skirt, paired with white long socks and loafers, highly restoring the feeling of daily commuting to school. I brought along the iconic green frog charm and a black handbag, and the earphones were well hidden in line with the details. During the shoot, to capture that relaxed yet slightly dashing feel, I tried several poses: squatting by the railing, carrying the bag over one shoulder, and a back view looking back, all captured by the photographer's lens. Although the light was so strong that I could barely open my eyes, the texture shot against the sun was exceptionally translucent, and the texture of the skirt hem and socks was clearly expressed. This outfit is actually quite comfortable to wear; except for the vest and shirt being a bit stuffy under the high temperature, everything else was friendly. Choosing a city bridge exterior view allows for a great integration into the city skyline, and the red steel structure happens to have a subtle harmony with the character's style. No excessive touch-ups were done in post-processing; it mainly involved adjusting the color temperature and light-shadow transitions, retaining that authentic atmosphere under the scorching sun. Doing cosplay is not just about restoring the look, but also wishing to present the character's daily yet vibrant state with the help of these props and lighting. Thanks to the photographer's snapshots, many momentary expressions and movements are very natural. Having prepared for so long, presenting this set of official photos still brings a great sense of achievement.
