Today's photo set focuses on dynamic snapshots in a backlit forest environment; the coordination of outfit, props, and lighting is the core we want to present this time. This lightweight dress on me, dominated by a light blue and white color scheme, features exceptionally large and fluffy puff sleeves, with the black cross-lacing at the chest serving as the finishing touch. Fluffy white pom-poms are embellished between the skirt hem and the costume's ruffles; this material presents an exceptionally soft and enveloping rim light under a backlit condition. Because the costume itself is a rather lightweight and fluffy style, to maximize its three-dimensional feel, I constantly tried to discard rigid standing postures during the shoot, heavily adopting movements like single-leg hopping, turning while holding up the skirt, and turning sideways to reach out for the sunshine.

The pink bamboo-ribbed umbrella used this time is an excellent interactive prop. Besides the light pink color of the canopy itself being highly outstanding in the green woods, the biggest highlight of this umbrella is the ultra-long red-pink gradient tassel hanging down from it. During the hopping and waving process, the trajectory dragged out by the tassel can greatly enrich the visual fluidity of the frame; the arc it draws in the air can make up for the singularity of body language under a static posture, filling every frozen frame with the afterglow of kinetic energy. Especially in high-toss movements like those in image 1 and image 5, it allows the tassel to present a natural drape under the pull of gravity, which is incredibly tense.

Regarding the scene, we deliberately chose a Forest location with highly dense vegetation. The sunlight poured through the gaps between the leaves of the towering and lower tree crowns. The photographer adopted a large aperture and shallow depth of field shooting technique, intentionally intensifying the highlight overexposure and high contrast of the frame, causing the foreground green leaves to produce huge, soft chromatic aberration bokeh, thereby manufacturing a highly dreamlike and even slightly hazy watery mist visual undertone. This high-brightness halo under backlit portrait conditions heavily tests the handling of light positioning in the early stage; a slight lack of care would bleach out the face, so we needed to precisely locate a "semi-backlit" angle during the shoot through our Dreamy photography approach.

In action design and camera expression, my principle was "natural vitality," refusing to deliberately force those rigid styles with immense contrast. For example, the exact moment I opened the umbrella and hoisted it over my head, I would let my body lean slightly backward, placing the center of gravity on a single foot while the other leg naturally tilted up, emphasizing a sense of playfulness. Meanwhile, I cared heavily about the direction of my gaze; we had both playful snapshots staring directly into the lens and dreamy stares turning my head to look toward the source of the light. In makeup selection, to avoid disrupting the overall fresh and natural tone, I avoided heavy eyeshadow, focusing instead on a clear base makeup and lip color, letting the eyeliner and eyelashes outline the contours of my facial features under the intense light to prevent the makeup from feeling overly heavy.

The presentation of the "legs" in this set of photos was also an anticipated highlight for us. Since the fluffy skirt hem of the costume falls right above the knee, when shooting full-body photos, paired with the elements of the footwear, it easily elongates the visual proportions. The shoes under my feet were selected to be light-colored flat shoes with a wrapping feel, featuring cross-strap details that formed black lines at the ankles; this sense of lines beautifully echoed the blue and white colors of the costume against the backdrop of fair skin. To present a lightweight posture, I tried my best to control the exertion of the thigh muscles, creating a momentary lingering feel of "tiptoeing" or "about to land" through a slight bend of the knees.

The photographer @MaoYouYanBingShi was incredibly swift when capturing dynamic moments, precisely snapping the highest point of the tassel fling, the inner lining structure when the skirt hem flipped open, and the most relaxed expression on my face. Shooting this kind of subject matter actually heavily relies on early tacit communication. During the shooting process, we experimented with holding the umbrella horizontally in front of the chest, hoisting it high over the head, or using the back to hook the umbrella handle among various storage methods; every single angle brought a completely different atmospheric feel. For instance, in the composition of image 4, I let the umbrella canopy slightly block a portion of my face, just slicing out soft facial shadows amidst the intense light; this interweaving feel of light and shadow made the figure more three-dimensional.

The process of this shoot was entirely smooth overall; although the afternoon forest light was quite intense, the rays filtering through the leaves carried an inherent warmth and sense of vitality. I am highly satisfied with the fusion of this costume, props, and makeup within the natural environment; the costume colors of light blue, pure white, and soft pink paired with the large area of environmental green formed a subtle harmony in hue, refusing to look abrupt, but instead bringing an immersive feeling as if the character herself lived in this forest environment. Especially the trajectories carved out in the wind and during the hops by the skirt hem and the long tassel immensely activated the vitality of the entire photo. Recording this atmospheric feel carrying light-and-shadow traits and natural vigor through photography skills was a highly enjoyable and fully invested creative process for me.
