This time, I'm bringing you a Hollow Special Operations Section 6 cosplay featuring Vice-Section Chief Tsukishiro Yanagi from Zenless Zone Zero. From the moment I decided to cosplay this character, I began preparing the costume and props. The ruffled collar of the white shirt was tailored with breathable cotton, and the cuffs accurately recreate the character's unique design, paired with a black bow tie and gloves. The tactical harness across the body is the soul of this outfit—multi-layered buckles and webbing not only enrich visual depth, but also evoke the distinct sci-fi tech and combat-ready edge of the Zenless Zone Zero universe. I specifically found a matching layout to print the HS0-S6 ID badge info, which is an essential hallmark of Tsukishiro Yanagi's identity.

For makeup, I chose a clean and sharp style, focusing on defined eyeliner and neat eyebrows, paired with her iconic half-rim glasses to channel more composure and calm into her demeanor. The pink wig was layered during trimming to look slightly softer than the original design, and together with the side-headset communication hairpin, the complete hair and makeup look came together.

On shoot day, photographer Jiongtang and I chose an open outdoor plaza with traditional Chinese eaves and green trees in the background. This eclectic environment blended nicely with the fringe-urban vibe of Zenless Zone Zero. During shooting, we explored several distinct poses. The first was a standing posture crossing my arms and adjusting my glasses—a classic pose that best embodies the Vice-Section Chief's work demeanor, conveying rigorous precision through gaze and subtle hand movement. The second pose was leaning slightly forward toward the lens with an outstretched arm, aiming to express an inviting yet focused attitude; this composition nicely displayed leg lines and belt details with strong dynamic tension. The third was sitting cross-legged on a blanket clutching a blue folder, leaning into a daily office or contemplative state with a softer nuance.

The anime convention venue was bustling with energy, filled with fantastic cosplay everywhere, with fans taking group photos and chatting in front of booths. Sinking into the character of Tsukishiro Yanagi amid the lively noise required some focus. Talking about character lore and story with fellow fans always reminds me of the unique charm of this world. Cosplaying is never just about wearing clothes; it's a true character immersion.

The weather was actually somewhat overcast on the day, providing very soft natural light. This diffuse lighting rendered skin texture exceptionally delicate and kept costume colors pure without harsh shadow interference. Among these Convention photos, I especially love the dynamic feel of the second shot—it feels as if she's ready to handle an emergency mission at any moment. Though pre-production and shooting were demanding, seeing the final results made me thrilled. Huge thanks to photographer Jiongtang for the dedicated framing and snapshots; it was a wonderful photoshoot experience.
