[Yin Ziping cosplay] NARAKA: BLADEPOINT: Yin Ziping Auspicious Radiance, The Miraculous Healer Sister Ziping - Image 1

Bringing this Yin Ziping Auspicious Radiance set from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT to life—from custom tailoring to crafting details by hand and finally wearing it—took over a month of non-stop effort. The design of this outfit is exceptionally complex: while the white, blue, and purple palette looks ethereal, splicing the actual fabrics in reality severely tests craftsmanship. The metal accents across the shoulders and waist required repeated sanding and reshaping so their edges wouldn't scrape my skin. The trickiest part was definitely those white feathers all over the costume—the slightest brush could easily mess them up, so I had to guard them with extreme care when shooting on location. The wig was also specially styled with pink double buns and a metal forehead ornament; to recreate that gentle yet heroic demeanor, I used more than half a bottle of hair gel and styling spray. The purplish-blue luminous wings at the back were quite heavy, with straps digging into my shoulders for hours and definitely leaving red marks afterward, but seeing the finished photos taken by photographer @Lanqiao Shendeng 233 made everything worthwhile.

The pose in the photos kneeling on one knee with a raised sword looks remarkably gallant, yet shooting it was an immense test of core strength. To showcase the crystal-like Stockings cosplay patterned with white motifs across my thighs while keeping the shape of the skirt and feathers intact, my knee was planted directly onto the hard convention hall floor. The transparent heels of the high-heeled shoes looked gorgeous, but maintaining balance was genuinely tough. By the way, a friendly tip for fellow cosplayers trying this kind of look: trim your nails thoroughly before slipping on intricately patterned stockings, and apply some hand cream to high-friction spots—otherwise, snagging the hosiery is utterly heartbreaking.

To be honest, doing this set also stemmed from my deep love for playing NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. In the game, I primarily play support as Sister Ziping; whenever a teammate's health drops low, I'm always the first to rush over with heals. Voice lines like 'Saving the world with medicine,' 'Bringing back life with miraculous skill,' and 'The path of healing'—I can recite them all with my eyes closed. Although the caption jokingly teased that college students playing NARAKA look like this, I'm actually super reliable in ranked matches. I usually enjoy playing casual duos or guiding newcomers, though occasionally I get parried until I question my life choices. Playing a healer requires not only game sense but also great resilience under pressure, since the entire team's survival rests in your hands; this intense focus and quick judgment actually feel very similar to the mindset I have when preparing cosplay props and studying character expressions.

I'm personally very satisfied with the fidelity of this outfit: from the lustrous shimmer of the fabric to every hanging ornament detail, everything stayed as faithful to the original design as possible. When taking these photos, the convention hall lighting happened to illuminate the purple translucent wings, creating an enchanting, dreamlike texture. While wearing the whole setup was cumbersome and walking was inconvenient, bringing a beloved game character into reality is an irreplaceable experience. The story of Morus Isle continues, and I look forward to taking this costume to offline gatherings to play with everyone. See you in the game!
