The first time I attempted an outdoor shoot for this Moria Ruruka set, the focus was on replicating the character's essence—mysterious yet playful. The preparation was detailed, especially the makeup. I specifically applied long false lashes paired with pink and white eyeshadow to enlarge my eyes, giving them that dreamy anime-character look. The platinum blonde wig has a pink gradient at the ends, and the heart-shaped curl at the top and the black accessories had to be fixed with hairspray. Combined with the purple diamond headpiece, the overall aura came together instantly.

Regarding the outfit, the jacket is primarily black with gold trim, matched with an inner white frilled collar and wide white bell sleeves. The black, white, and gold color scheme is both gorgeous and layered. The purple heart gem on the bow tie serves as an accent, echoing the headpiece. The black and gold skirt, paired with translucent purple tights and black high-heeled leather shoes, makes the leg lines look slender. The shoes also feature gold trim, maintaining consistent color coordination throughout.

The prop for this shoot was the purple-based ring-headed staff, featuring inlaid card patterns, ribbons, and rubies. Holding it felt very immersive, and the material was sturdy enough for any pose. The shoot took place at the Guangzhou Firefly ACG Expo. The high ceiling of the venue provided soft light, which, combined with onsite fill lights, worked perfectly. The photographer chose various angles, from wide full-body action shots to elegant close-ups on the floor. I personally like the one sitting on the ground, which showcases the texture of the purple tights and shoes well, while the staff resting across my legs balances the composition. The standing pose with the skirt fluttering captured the movement beautifully. The squatting pose with my hand supporting my chin looked cute and mischievous, creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Overall, the atmosphere at the expo was great, and I met many friends who were also there. Although wearing high heels all day was a test of stamina, successfully recreating a full outfit and posing in front of the lens felt incredibly rewarding. Conveying the character's mystery and playfulness through photos was the biggest takeaway from this cosplay.
