[Furina cosplay] Genshin Impact Furina Maid outfit Cosplay Part 1

Shooting this Furina Maid outfit photo set took quite a long time to prepare, mainly to bring out the overall texture. The clothes were chosen from a dark blue velvet fabric, which produces a very delicate luster when light hits it, and paired with white lace trim and black lace sleeve covers, the sense of layering is very rich. The sapphire brooch with the golden chain on the chest is the visual center of the entire outfit, while the blue satin ribbon at the waist and the green gemstone embellishments add a bit of bright color to the dark tones. The skirt is a multi-layered puffy skirt, and when walking or sitting down, the spreading effect of the skirt hem is fantastic. The matching White stockings and black thigh straps nicely flatter the leg lines while adding a touch of restrained sexiness without appearing overly flamboyant.

In terms of makeup and styling, to fit the feel in the setting, the wig was chosen as a silver-white style with a light blue gradient, specially styling that crescent-shaped ahoge on top of the head. The eye makeup elongated the eye shape, wearing bright blue contact lenses, and the blush was applied quite heavily, all to create an exquisite, doll-like, slightly unreal Anime cosplay atmosphere.

The shooting scene this time was chosen in a vintage indoor location with dark curtains, wooden wainscoting, and an oval mirror with a golden frame on the background. A red velvet tablecloth was spread on the table, displaying some red wine bottles, goblets, freshly baked croissants, and grapes. These props are not just decorations; during the shoot, I would hold a tray, pick up a wine glass, or read letters inside a book, making hand movements much more natural and giving the gaze a resting point.

During the shoot, I paid close attention to posture adjustments. Wearing White stockings and a maid outfit requires quite a bit of care regarding sitting posture; crossing the legs or placing them slightly to the side showcases the leg lines to the maximum extent. For example, in the few photos sitting down holding a croissant, I deliberately leaned my center of gravity backward, resting one leg on top of the other, so that from the lens's perspective, the visual cutting sense formed by the leg straps and socks is very obvious, while also retaining the elegant posture a maid should have. The standing postures for holding a wine glass and tableware tongs require relaxing the shoulders, slightly puffing out the chest and pulling in the abdomen, allowing the clothing pattern to hold up and look more energetic.

Regarding the lighting setup, we tried our best to simulate that indoor warm light with clear contrast between light and dark, brightening the main subject and darkening the background to give the frame a sense of drama and storytelling. Actually, when shooting this outfit, the amplitude of movements cannot be too large because the skirt has many layers and can easily look bloated if not careful, so most of the time I was fine-tuning the angles of my fingers and the curvature of my waist. Although the whole process was a bit tiring, seeing the clothing materials, the light and shadow transitions, and the overall presented effect in the final photos made all the expended effort completely worthwhile. This set of images shot several groups of actions, each aiming to express different emotions—some lazy, some playful. I hope the visual presentation of this Part 1 lets everyone feel the unique charm of the character combined with this outfit.
