During the shoot, the main priority was highlighting the contours of the legs, which is why I focused on seated poses. Expression management took quite a bit of practice, as this sort of styling requires maintaining a slightly haughty yet playful and whimsical attitude. The wig was light blue with Furina's signature ahoge and curled ends. For makeup, I paid special attention to the eyes; blue-grey colored contacts gave the gaze a sharper, dramatic edge. That playful quip about turning big troubles into little cakes and small troubles into dumplings perfectly captured my relaxed, cheerful mood throughout this shoot.

The composition relied on a classic centered seated stance with legs extended, enhancing body proportions. Leg placement was adjusted repeatedly on set to achieve the cleanest contours. Pairing White stockings with a black thigh ring is a classic, eye-catching combination that slims the silhouette while accentuating the costume's character. Outfits like this can easily look bulky on the lower body, so maintaining flattering angles was critical, balancing playfulness with professional execution. For instance, sitting upright with a straight back adds energetic poise, bringing out the full quality of the wardrobe. The voluminous skirt width also needed to be showcased, with proper lighting to bring out the depth of the lace.
A Maid costume demands high attention to detail. The design looks pleasing and felt comfortable to wear, though the skirt carried noticeable weight and required care when sitting down. Combining royal blue satin with white ruffled trim really tested the lighting setup; the reflective sheen of the satin meant carefully controlling the lighting contrast ratio. Makeup was kept crisp and clean. The outfit also featured numerous accessories—pins, ribbons, and brooches—gorgeous to look at, but time-consuming to put on. Staying confident before the lens is essential: keeping the legs extended and the spine straight. To avoid snagging the fabric, I thoughtfully coordinated flat shoes and short socks. Sudden, exaggerated movements had to be avoided to prevent wardrobe slips, requiring constant attention to decorum. Having a huge backlog from this session, I selected the most atmospheric shots to showcase the unique charm of this Furina cosplay costume from Genshin Impact. The overall execution turned out wonderful, making it well worth commemorating.
