This time, the shooting for Roxy went quite smoothly from preparation to output, and I mainly want to chat with you about the details of this cosplay photoshoot. In terms of clothing, the top features a white stand-collar design with black splicing at the cuffs, blue striped straps and black crisscross belts added at the chest and waist, and an outermost brown cape with black-and-white stripes along the edges, giving it a strong overall layering. The prop staff is a key point: the white staff body connects to a black geometric handle, with a uniquely shaped white structure at the top. The floating blue water droplet prop next to it was actually fixed with transparent fishing lines first and erased in post-processing, making the final effect look very natural. The wig is light blue; the stylist helped me trim the bangs and style it into twin braids. To ensure the hair doesn't fly around during large movements, quite a few clips were used for fixation. For makeup, blue contact lenses were worn, with a focus on enlarging the eye makeup, matched with pink blush and a reddish lip tint, attempting to capture the translucent feel of an anime character. During the shooting, the studio lighting was very even, and the light blue background matched the overall tone extremely well. Shooting the first pose of raising one leg was actually particularly tiring; it required core tightening to maintain balance, holding the staff steady, and controlling facial expressions so as not to break character. For the sitting pose in the second photo, to keep the skirt hem down, the angles of the arms and legs were adjusted many times. The picture in photo 7 where the cape is fluttering was captured by having an assistant hold the edge of the cape in the back and quickly swing it open in coordination with my forward-leaning momentum, and it took about a dozen tries to get a satisfying one. The perspective sense of the staff in the frame is also very important, so the photographer deliberately chose a low angle to highlight the volume sense of the prop. Throughout the shooting process, I kept pondering the character's expression and demeanor. Since Roxy herself is a wizard, I wanted to present a state of composure yet cuteness in front of the lens. Therefore, in many photos, my gaze was intentionally softened a bit, paired with head tilts or touching the brim of the hat to increase vividness. As for the boots, white high-top boots with metal buckles and yellow-brown splicing at the bottom actually make walking quite stable, and paired with a short skirt, they showcase the leg lines during movements. When shooting sitting poses, to ensure even lighting on the knees and calves, the assistant constantly held a reflector nearby for fine-tuning. In short, this set of photos put a lot of detail work into everything from clothing and props to action design, and I am also very satisfied with the texture of the magic water droplets.
