The dim, warm lights of the bar hit the glossy high-waisted shorts, refracting a delicate halo. Choosing to shoot this photoset in front of the bar counter was a slightly challenging yet highly interesting choice from a photography perspective. The depth of the wooden liquor cabinets and the warm tones of the hidden LED strips laid a solid vintage foundation for the entire set.

For the makeup, hair, and Anime cosplay outfit pairing, I chose an ice-blue-gray slightly wavy wig, giving it a fluffy treatment to better fit the crown of the head. Red hair accessories adorned both sides of the head, echoing the colors of the collar with its white base and red bowtie perfectly. The long white bunny ears and the plush bunny tail behind me look playful, yet they form a stark visual contrast with the glossy black material of the high-waisted shorts and the mesh fishnet stockings. In fact, this kind of glossy material is highly demanding regarding on-site lighting during a shoot; a slight misalignment in angle can easily cause large areas of overexposed highlights. However, in this photoset, the photographer beautifully captured the layers of light, allowing the folds of the shorts and the texture of the fishnets to be perfectly displayed.

The vintage black rotary telephone appearing in the frame, the English logos on the wooden wine crates in the background, and the staggered bottles and cocktail shakers all add a rich sense of storytelling to the scene. When shooting the first photo, I turned sideways, holding the white plush tail in my hand and leaning forward slightly, aiming to create a lazy, somewhat hazy feeling, as if I had already stayed late into the night at this bar.

The composition and atmosphere of the second photo are completely different. I chose a sitting posture with my hands folded in front of me, leaning back slightly and looking slightly upward. This pose is less casual and adds a touch of frozen refinement. Bunny girl styles are often easily pigeonholed as purely sexy, but through the slightly defensive and bewildered gaze in the second photo, it actually restores the complex temperament of being both innocent and slightly rebellious in the character's setting.

Every single bottle in the bar cabinet, illuminated by the warm yellow light, seems like an independent vessel of stories. During the breaks in the bar photoshoot, I could use these props to adjust my state, allowing my facial expressions and body movements to blend more naturally into the scene. Vintage objects have so much character; their presence elevates cosplay from simple dress-up into detaching oneself from reality and immersing into a parallel space with a specific texture. Blending the vivid side of the character with the physical details of the scene is what makes a photoset truly have a soul.
