[Arknights Tutu cosplay] Studio shoot record, preparing for the carnival

Tutu construction is underway. The main purpose of this studio shoot is to prepare for the upcoming carnival by putting on the entire outfit in advance to check the overall effect.

The photography was handled by Puer. To match the fresh color palette of the entire costume, the main light source of the studio shoot was set up to be very transparent, ensuring there are no redundant shadows on the face. This yellow fisherman's hat is the visual center of the overall styling, and coupled with those fluffy rabbit ears, it not only elevates the proportion but also maximizes the cute vibe. The upper body is a light mint green short-sleeve shirt, with a yellow-and-white striped tie at the neckline, making the colors refreshing and vibrant. To increase the layering of the outfit, white sleevelets were specially added to both arms, and bright yellow sports wristbands were worn on the wrists, echoing the color of the hat.

Ample preparation was also made for the props. Holding a small yellow square camera in my hand, with a yellow cylindrical bag hanging at my waist, even the blue thin-ringed ring on my finger and the blue leg rings on my legs are all fully matched. The makeup focused on highlighting the blue circle lenses, paired with a brown neat-bangs wig and a mole painted at the corner of the mouth, which can completely withstand close-up shots in front of the lens.

In terms of pose design, we tried several different styles. At first, it was holding the camera with both hands, capturing that focused shooting feeling. Later, I tried supporting the brim of the hat with one hand while extending the other hand forward; this posture can greatly enhance the perspective feel of the frame, making the photos look more spatially tense. The photo holding the small plush doll was mainly to show a gentle side, holding the prop with both hands in front of the chest with a slightly softer gaze.

The one I am most satisfied with is the full-body photo sitting on a black folding chair. Workwear shorts paired with black martens boots, with the sitting posture stretching the legs slightly forward and crossing the legs, the leg lines and garment silhouette can be displayed very well. The black boots and military green workwear pants have a very obvious texture under the studio lighting, and the cool-handsome style forms a great contrast with the cute elements on the upper body.

The color reproduction of the entire outfit under the studio lights is very high, and the combination of mint green and yellow is extremely photogenic. However, for the carnival, there is still room for further optimization in the texture of the props and the pattern of the clothes. For example, the smoothness of the wig still needs trimming and styling, and the strap length of the camera also needs minor adjustments to avoid affecting movements when walking around at the convention. This studio shoot can be considered a reassuring pill; in the remaining time, I will continue to refine the details to strive to present the best state at the carnival.
