Putting together this finished Yvonne cosplay set from Arknights: Endfield took considerable effort across costuming, props, and location scouting. To stay faithful to the character's design, the wig not only needed clean pink and blue highlights, but also had to integrate seamlessly with elf ears and black horns. For makeup, the focus was placed on sharpening the eye contours, paired with light-colored contact lenses to channel her serene, slightly enigmatic demeanor.
The wardrobe is rich in visual layering: an off-the-shoulder paneled top with pink lantern sleeves, anchored at the waist by a translucent strap and metallic buckles, paired below with White tight pants and chunky platform high-heeled boots. The most time-consuming piece was undeniably the colossal teal-green Mechanical arm prop. To ensure the weight wouldn't compromise dynamic posing on set, the internal framework underwent multiple structural revisions, and the exterior weathering and mechanical articulation details took several passes to nail down. The pink sci-fi firearm in hand was specially tailored to match, its blue-and-pink palette resonating flawlessly with the overall look.
The shoot took place at an arcade, where neon signs and claw machines naturally exude a thick cyberpunk vibe that aligns beautifully with the art direction of Arknights: Endfield. On location, the ambient pink and blue fluorescent reflections washed directly over the costume, merging with our fill lights to generate striking, high-tension color contrasts.
In posing, I explored varied stances to embody her personality. Lifting one leg slightly while standing or perching on a high stool with legs crossed cleanly accentuated the streamlined contours framed by the White tight pants while adding dynamic energy to the silhouette. The glance back over the shoulder is one of my personal favorite compositions; the waist cutout paired with the mechanical arm's sweeping lines highlighted body curves while reinforcing the techwear motif.
The shoot proved to be quite a physical workout, particularly when adjusting angles with the heavy Mechanical arm prop while keeping facial expressions composed. The photographer offered fantastic lighting guidance, utilizing background elements like neon guitar signs and welcome marquees to infuse depth and narrative weight into the frames. From pre-production to the final image release, every detail was tuned to match the source material as closely as possible, making this a deeply fulfilling and exhilarating shoot.
