The cosplay photoshoot for Cissia from Zenless Zone Zero is finally complete. From finalizing the makeup to scouting the studio location, the preparation took nearly a full month. To faithfully recreate this outfit, I poured extensive thought into the details. The wig was chosen with golden-yellow gradients and braided accents, while the black horns and white plush pom-poms on the headpiece went through multiple comparisons. The top is a vibrant pink cropped crop-top with a green ribbon bow at the neckline, featuring black 'NEP' lettering on both the chest and the white arm sleeves. The boots and thigh straps were also strictly tailored—especially the vine patterns on the black Stockings cosplay legwear and the Martin boots adorned with plush pom-poms, which instantly brought the character's distinctive aura to life the moment I put them on.
The shooting day took place in an indoor studio featuring an industrial sci-fi aesthetic. The background was styled with stacked tires and glowing red neon tubes, set atop a glossy floor etched with circuit-board patterns. The ambient lighting contrast was intense with interwoven pink and purple illumination; to harmonize with Zenless Zone Zero's cyberpunk atmosphere, we deliberately brought in a blue motorcycle as a central prop. To deliver the most polished results, I explored diverse posing angles. Frames include leaning against the motorbike with legs crossed, as well as high-angle shots with hands raised and eyes casting downward. For that overhead perspective in particular, to maximize visual punch, I refined my gaze and micro-expressions multiple times—balancing the confident authority of a security officer with the dynamic tension demanded by Anime-style photography.
As a cosplayer, I have always placed high value on textile quality and final image delivery. Easily overlooked nuances, such as metallic buckles on leather boots and black strapping around the thighs, actually exert tremendous influence over the overarching visual impression. Throughout the shoot, the photographer's mastery of light and shadow was exceptionally professional—crisp highlights falling across the face and fabric textures granted the composition remarkable three-dimensional depth. Maintaining taut, structured physical posture for hours was physically demanding, but the moment the final images materialized, all fatigue vanished instantly.
I believe every cosplay endeavor is a dialogue with the character. Cissia boasts a vivid personality and an unmistakable aesthetic; contemplating her body language and mindset taught me a great deal about photography and visual styling. Bringing my personal interpretation of Lady Security Officer to life has been an immensely rewarding milestone. I hope everyone feels the character's magnetic charm through this photo set, and I look forward to taking on even more diverse character styles in the future.
