This outdoor shoot for Robin was set in a lush park garden, where sunlight filtered gently through the foliage. The crystal-clear natural lighting environment was ideal for showcasing the character's refreshing aura. To do the character justice, I put substantial effort into the hair and makeup. The light periwinkle-purple wig was styled beforehand into a side braid and adorned with purple petal hairpieces. For the makeup, in addition to wearing the signature green contact lenses, special emphasis was placed on the lower eyelid line and elongated lashes, complemented by an expansive sweep of pink blush to bridge the gap between reality and the 2D world.

The costume contains an abundance of details, and capturing the white-and-purple dress under bright outdoor sunlight was actually quite tricky. The fitted purple inner layer paired with the outer white tulle and accented by the wide purple corset belt created rich, distinct dimensions. I accessorized with a golden halo and gradient wing props beside the ears, along with multi-layered gold bangles and beaded tassels around the wrists. To enhance visual richness, the hanging gold star charms along the skirt hem and the gold thigh garter were indispensable accents. During the shoot, I frequently reminded the photographer to monitor the angle of the halo in the frame to prevent harsh blown-out reflections.

Since the character's persona leans toward an elegant songstress, my posing avoided overly dramatic gestures, relying primarily on seated compositions. I experimented with taking off my shoes to appear barefoot, stepping directly onto the lawn or resting my feet along the edge of a chair, which flattered my leg contours while conveying a relaxed, organic ease. In the final shot, I slipped into white high heels; with legs elegantly crossed, a poised dignity infused with subtle allure emerged naturally. With the sheer tulle of the skirt fanned across the grass, shooting against the backlight beautifully revealed the delicate weave and texture of the fabric.

A red maple-like tree in the background introduced a striking contrast of color against the verdant greenery, and the distant spires of the architecture resembled a fairytale castle. Photographing outdoors under intense light and shadow truly tests both stamina and patience—especially braving mosquito bites while walking barefoot on the grass. Yet for the sake of capturing those luminous sun-dappled flares in the raw shots and the tranquil serenity reflected in my gaze, every bit of preparation and experimentation was worthwhile. Each click of the shutter brings a flat 2D character to life in three dimensions.
