[Robin cosplay] The sweet and healing singer in Honkai: Star Rail

Snapped a few Convention photos of Robin at CP31 Day 2. The visual focus of this styling lies in the blue-and-white gradient long curly hair and the angel halo on the head, plus a pair of light feather wings by the ears, which makes it highly recognizable. Shooting in a convention environment with complex overhead lighting and dense crowds really tests the photographer's control over the lens. To restore the agility of the character, we specifically utilized the natural light from the high parts of the exhibition hall and local fill light to capture the moments when the skirt hem was lifted by the wind. The white-and-purple waist-cinching dress is paired with over-the-knee white socks, adding rich layering with the gauze puff sleeves on the wrists and the star-trail metal ornaments on the legs. During the shoot, I tried actions like reaching out to invite and looking back while holding the skirt, keeping the expressions as natural as possible without too many exaggerated looks. Robin is designed as a singer who heals others with her voice in the game, so the emotional expression tends to be soft and quiet. On-site, I also paid special attention to the stability of the wig and headwear to avoid blocking the view or shifting while moving. Although the surroundings were noisy, I managed to get a relatively clean background by utilizing the depth of the venue. These Convention photos are mainly to record the state of wearing this outfit at the convention; the overall effect is fresh and natural, and it is a thoughtful display of a beloved character.
