The setting for this shoot was an outdoor open-air pool, where sunlight beamed straight onto the water's surface, creating dazzling, sparkling reflections. To capture the summer vacation essence of Robin • Summeretto, we went into the pool during the early afternoon. The wig was long, wavy, and styled in a pale lavender-grey with subtle blue gradient tips; in the water, it tangled very easily, so I had to spray ample hair oil before getting in each time and comb it out immediately upon surfacing to prevent it from looking frizzy on camera. The floating halo overhead and feathered wings were custom-ordered beforehand and assembled by hand; to prevent water splashes from weighing them down or warping their shape, I anchored them firmly using bobby pins and clear fishing line, repeatedly checking the placement of the starfish hairpins as well.

For eye makeup, I applied soft pinkish eyeshadow, adorned the outer lower lash lines with star-shaped glitter flakes, and placed blue star stickers across my cheeks to echo the pool's blue ceramic tiles. Because this was a shoot in the water, standard makeup could easily smudge or patch, so I selected waterproof base products and set the eyeliner meticulously. This blue-and-white bikini top features abundant star-shaped details; the metallic shoulder strap buckles caught bright highlights under the sun, while the sheer waist wrap fanned out like a mermaid's tail in the water. Purple-blue ribbons drifted gently along the current, and yellow-and-white floral accessories swayed rhythmically with the ripples.

The shooting process was far more exhausting than anticipated. The first shot was taken beside the pool ladder: I had to half-crouch in the water while gripping the handrail, engaging my core muscles to keep my upper body steady. The water's resistance was immense, and once soaked, the wig became incredibly heavy, requiring noticeable effort every time I turned my head to make the hair float gracefully. In the second shot, sitting by the pool's edge, I raised both hands to extend the lines of my shoulders and arms while fanning the skirt across the tiles to create dimensional layers. At that moment, direct sunlight fell right across the hemline, which, paired with the starburst flares added in post-processing, gave the frame an ethereal, dreamlike finish.

I have always loved costumes with oceanic themes, and this Robin • Summeretto design fit the outdoor pool setting naturally. The warm daylight lent clarity and translucency to the overall image, blending the pool's blue water with the blue accents on the outfit for a wonderfully refreshing look. Although producing these shots required continuously adjusting poses and expressions while keeping wet hair from sticking to my face, seeing the airy visual results made the long soak entirely worthwhile. As a summer-themed creative project, this collection preserved a natural waterside atmosphere and left behind a crisp visual memory of the season.
