[Touhou Project Cosplay] Daily Mirror Selfies with Red Wig, Little Devil Wings, and Black-and-White Sheer Sleeves

Putting on the red wig, clipping on those little bat wings and horns, and slipping into this black-and-white color-blocked dress—the moment I pressed the shutter in front of the mirror, I felt like I truly stepped into the character. This time, I went for a Little Devil styled look from Touhou Project cosplay. Although I didn't shoot outdoors, taking mirror selfies in my room and finding angles felt much more relaxed. The red wig was specifically chosen beforehand; the strands drape smoothly over my shoulders. The small black horns on both sides sit perfectly on top of my head—lightweight and secure. Paired with the bat wings featuring reddish-purple lining on my back, the overall silhouette immediately becomes three-dimensional. The large black ruffled bow at the neckline serves as the visual centerpiece of this outfit. The silver cross pendant dangling right in the middle contrasts beautifully against the thin red lace-up ribbons, adding a pop of color within the dark tones. These details are super eye-catching. The sleeves are a true love-hate relationship. Multiple layers of white transparent mesh grid are stacked together, trimmed with lace at the cuffs. When I raise my arms, they fan out widely like clouds. However, if I'm not careful while taking photos, they block the lens or press against the dress. So while taking mirror selfies, I had to constantly adjust my arm angles to get the layered, draping effect just right. The dress has a black base fabric with subtle jacquard patterns, hemmed with a delicate white lace border. The skirt isn't overly puffy, but it sways naturally as I move, showcasing leg lines and maintaining nice overall proportions. I love these darker Gothic style elements as well as the Little Devil theme. Whether a character is popular or niche, as long as the outfit design and character personality resonate with me, I always want to try it out. This set of photos wasn't deliberately post-processed; I used my phone to snap photos of myself directly in the mirror. The frame even captures the clothes rack and plush toys in my room. I feel this casual record is more authentic and clearly shows the actual texture of the outfit under different lighting conditions. The overhead light casts clear shadows on the wall, with the silhouette of the wings slanting behind me, adding a touch of drama to the composition. Shooting was actually quite tiring because I had to hold my phone in one hand while holding up the sleeves or adjusting the skirt hem with the other, but taking extra shots always helps in picking out the most natural poses. When cosplaying, I rarely strive for 100% exact reproduction of the original artwork; I care more about whether I can comfortably express that "even a weakling can be cute" vibe once I put on the outfit. The overall palette of this Little Devil look is a classic combination of red, black, and white. The red wig creates a striking contrast with the black and white clothing, and paired with the bat wings, it's visually very striking.
