[Artoria cosplay] Blue and White Bunny Girl Style Private Shoot from Fate/Grand Order

This photoshoot was set on an outdoor lawn, utilizing an arched mirror with a slightly distressed, vintage finish to capture self-portraits. Rather than taking phone screenshots or snapping the camera screen, these are authentic mirror reflections in the wild, which blends the ambient daylight with the blue sky and white clouds much more seamlessly. Because a Mirror selfie can easily distort body proportions or hide the face behind the phone, I consciously adjusted my stance to turn slightly to the side, letting the phone occupy only a small central fraction of the frame to keep both the complete outfit and background fully in view.

The blue-and-white ensemble is rich with intricate details. The headwear features a bunny-ear silhouette accented by blue ribbon bows, paired with short blonde locks and her iconic ahoge, presenting a delightful gap-moe charm distinctly different from the King of Knights' usual dignified solemnity. The blue choker around the neck, the off-the-shoulder neckline, the criss-cross lace-up ribbon across the bodice, and the ruffled cuffs all contribute to a rich, layered aesthetic. The blue-and-white argyle over-the-knee Stockings serve as the highlight of the lower half, with delicate blue bows adorning the cuffs, while the peek of absolute territory along the thighs visually balances the outfit's sweet appeal. The ruffled skirt hem and leg contours are flatteringly outlined under the natural sunlight.

The garment's textiles showcased beautiful depth outdoors, where the crisp white base and azure trim complemented one another. The blue arm sleeves and the sparkling glitter phone case generated unique reflections in the glass. Managing natural light outdoors is far trickier than in an indoor studio because the sun's position continually shifts; I had to constantly adjust the mirror's tilt to dodge harsh specular blowouts, relying on soft diffuse light to maximize color saturation across my skin and the wardrobe.

Styling the wig also required considerable effort. The blonde hair needed to retain airy volume while keeping the signature stray ahoge standing upright, which called for a fair amount of setting spray. The makeup leaned fresh and translucent, defining eye contours to harmonize with the overall mood of the look. To set this apart from Artoria's canonical demeanor in Fate/Grand Order, I didn't push for majestic regal gravity, choosing instead a more casual, lively energy to match the breezy blue-and-white styling.

The biggest challenge of outdoor location shoots is visual clutter, making the mirror framing an invaluable tool. It naturally cropped a clean, tight focal window, forging a harmonious balance between the azure sky, green lawn, and figure. Throughout the session, I continuously searched for the sweet spot between light direction and mirror angle, testing multiple high and low perspectives to present the leg lines and patterned stockings in full. The final set boasts vibrant, luminous clarity, with the blue-and-white palette popping strikingly against the lush lawn. I hope this alternative take on Artoria brings a refreshing splash of novelty to everyone!
