[Remielle 'C' cosplay] Dance of Pure White Feathers in Zenless Zone Zero

This set of Remielle 'C' cosplay photos from Zenless Zone Zero is finally ready to share! Preparing for this character involved putting tremendous thought into polishing every detail. To capture her distinctive blend of elegance and mystery, I deepened the layers of my eye makeup and paired it with crimson contact lenses, hoping to accurately convey that captivating charm in her gaze. The short pink wig took a long time to select as well; I ultimately chose one woven with subtle shimmering fibers that revealed a glistening, radiant texture under studio lights. Paired with pointed elf ears and the silver four-pointed star hair accessory pinned to the bangs, the overall facial fidelity completely lived up to my initial vision.

The costume details truly tested garment tailoring and textural quality. The halter top, primarily in white, features a cutout design interwoven with metallic buckles and strapping across the chest. Putting it on required meticulous adjustment of every strap to flatter bodily curves naturally, while ensuring ample mobility so nothing shifted out of place during poses. The detached flared sleeves were accented with pink-purple tasseled tulle; whether walking or simply lifting my arms, I adore that airy, fluttering dimension. The blue bow tie at the neckline, coupled with the striking silver four-pointed star metallic insignia at the chest, formed an eye-catching visual anchor for the upper body.

For the lower half, a white pleated miniskirt was paired with stiletto heels. To introduce richer styling depth and accentuate leg lines, I wore lace-trimmed white semi-sheer thigh-high Stockings paired with white garter straps. This combination created intense visual tension during seated poses or when lifting one leg. The shoes were white pointed-toe stilettos featuring a subtle pop of red on the soles—a delightful hidden detail.

The set was staged against an all-white backdrop with the floor blanketed in pure white feathers, complemented by falling feather effects added in post-production. This high-key photography style places rigorous demands on lighting, requiring soft, perfectly even diffusion to eliminate harsh shadows. The massive pair of white wings on my back actually carried considerable weight, held firmly in place by back harnesses; whether standing or seated, I had to continuously adjust their angle so the wings looked expansive, effortless, and lightweight on camera.

In terms of posing, I explored diverse expressions. There were curled-up seated poses hugging my knees to evoke an endearing vulnerability, as well as standing poses with arms outstretched or one leg lightly raised to let the skirt hem and feathers catch a sense of windblown movement. In the series seated atop the white cylindrical plinth, I wanted to convey an elegant yet subtly languid posture. Rather than static poses, I prefer infusing body language with emotional storytelling—tilting my head subtly toward the lens or weaving in playful finger gestures to bring out a vibrant, living side of the character. Although the process was intricate, turning the visions in my mind into reality brought an irreplaceable sense of fulfillment.
