[Altria cosplay] Fate Series World Line Convention Photos

The convention photos from the World Line convention are all sorted out, and looking back at the photos, many details remain very clear. This blue and white dress paired with metal armor pieces genuinely feels heavy, especially the gauntlets and breastplate, making wearing and moving around a bit strenuous. This time, we shot a standing pose in a long corridor, where the cool gray background perfectly complemented the glowing effect of the golden sword. During the on-site shoot, the sword hilt was actually just a prop; the glowing effect mainly relied on post-processing enhancements coordinated with the venue's lighting. The hair was a trimmed blonde wig. To maintain that solemn, head-bowed expression that day, I had to constantly hold an awkward posture, leaving my legs and arms quite sore after supporting it for so long. I must say, with such a long skirt and heavy cape, you have to find a good center of gravity to ensure you stand straight without slouching. Thanks to photographer Dongzirou for helping find the best angles; he made excellent use of the corridor's depth of field to place the character at the absolute visual center, making this vertical composition exude an incredible aura. Although the waist was cinched quite tightly, the overall effect looks really good. The convention was packed that day, so capturing such a quiet, solemn moment in a noisy environment was no easy feat. The costume features extremely rich details in the chest embroidery and shoulder armor; I was initially worried they wouldn't show up clearly, but seeing the final photos, the details were recreated beautifully. My biggest concern during the shoot was the lighting effect. Because the sword was directly in front, it was easy for the bright sword light to cause overexposure on the face. Fortunately, the light and shadow on the face in the returned photos were very even, and the flowing lines of the blade looked very natural. For an armor-based character that doesn't show much face or legs, you mainly have to rely on the atmosphere to carry the look. While organizing this set of photos, I also reminisced a bit about the scene while queuing for the shoot. Convention photos can often turn out cluttered, but this time the lighting placement was well-chosen, and combined with a slightly restrained stance, the overall solemn vibe really came through. Additionally, the reflective floor beneath the skirt added depth to the image, and combined with the golden particle effects around the feet, it kept the bottom of the frame from looking too dull. To be honest, walking around the exhibition hall in this gear consumed a lot of stamina—not only was it hot, but the weight of these replica armor pieces pressed heavily on the shoulders, making any unstable steps look very clumsy. However, seeing such quiet, stern final photos makes all the hard work feel completely worth it.
