Donning this Honkai: Star Rail Aglaea Cosplay themed outfit while standing beside ancient, weathered stone pillars bathed in direct sunlight, light and shadow weave a clear yet soft texture across the white fabric and heavy-craft gold accessories. Today's goal was to do my utmost to recreate the character's divine yet vibrant beauty—especially in this outdoor setting rich with traces of time, where white and peach-colored chiffon created a wondrous chemical reaction with the mottled white columns.

In terms of fabric selection for this Divine outfit, to match the character's ethereal and noble presence, the primary fabric features luminous satin white chiffon paired with peach ruffle stitching, allowing the dress to yield rich layers of motion while walking. The most labor-intensive parts this time were those intricate golden components—from the elaborate choker at the neck to the heavy-craft gold waist and abdominal adornments resembling vines or flame motifs, every piece required individual curvature adjustments to fit body contours smoothly. In particular, the combination of the golden leg decoration and black thigh garter on the thigh was accented just right in the sunlight, extending leg lines without looking overly cluttered.

For the wig, a light golden short curly wig was selected, with its bangs and sideburn curvatures trimmed multiple times to restore the character's otherworldly yet subtly messy beauty. For makeup, emphasis was placed on eye contours and translucency; light-colored contacts paired with soft eyeshadow looked exceptionally clear under strong light. The golden staff held in hand serves as the soul of the entire look—its metallic texture gleamed brilliantly under the blazing sun, feeling substantial in hand and adding a palpable sense of power.

The weather on shoot day was superb, with virtually no clouds under a deep blue sky. Although intense sunlight can easily cause harsh facial shadows, it also brought out the full vibrancy of the costume colors and the rugged texture of the architecture. The wind became our best assistant, constantly rustling the white sheer skirt hems and cuffs, endowing the static look with immediate vitality. To complement this dynamic motion, a low-angle shot was chosen during Portrait photography, utilizing the upward extension of ancient stone pillars to focus visual attention above—not only appearing taller and more upright, but also exuding a majestic, world-overlooking aura.

Under such bright natural light, retaining both the subject's translucency and the background's weathered charm presented quite a challenge. It required constantly adjusting face angles toward the light to avoid uneven shadowing, while using reflectors to fill in shadow details so the eyes retained brilliant luster in finished shots. When the wind whipped up the skirt, extremely fast shutter speeds were needed to capture those fleeting moments; this process of "racing" against light and natural wind was immensely engaging.

Despite shooting under the blazing sun for hours and retouching makeup and hair several times due to sweat, seeing the skirt flutter in the wind and the staff in hand emit brilliant rays made all the hardship turn into a deeper understanding of the character. This costume is not merely a stack of fabric and gold ornaments; against the backdrop of these crumbling stone pillars, it showcases a unique romanticism blending brokenness, resilience, and maternal radiance. I hope through this set of photos, everyone can feel this subtle interplay of divinity and humanity, and I hope my portrayal does justice to the character's undeniable charm.
